Agree.... 1) Yeah, it was a good tuneup and most importantly isn't the defense in injury trouble right now? Any minutes you can give to depth guys in friendlies is going to be critical going into Cup qualifier play. 2.) I don't want to talk about the waffle boys. 3.) That goal was huge. After setting the US scoring record in Europe, if he would have come back and not played well it may have killed him. It could have easily been the well... sure he scored a lot of goals for them, but back on the US team against better competition it's same ole same ole. But he got the first one out of the way, and first in 1.5 years. First for Klinsman too I believe? If Josey can stay hot, they have a chance of putting up some points. I think Klinsman said it best when he says we have to remember how much soccer (football) he has ahead of him because he's been around so long that we forget how young he still is. I thought, you know what, he has been around for ever so I looked it up and that little shit turns 24 this year.. 20 fucking 4. A lot of people forget because he went across, how good he was early. His CAPS died recently but he still has like 16 goals internationally and again is only 24... if he can double that before his career is over, you're looking at 4th all time... unless somehow Dempsey doesn't score another one, then it's third. (side note, I've seen his goals listed 3 different numbers in different places, 13, 14, 16 so I went with 16... )</p>
