I don't know!
Like I've mentioned, my friend---Despite Williams and the Bears offense performing MUCH worse than Daniels and the Washington offense, being a lot less efficient and making everything look SUPER difficult...Williams is still RIGHT THERE with Daniels on the bottom line stats, the stats football fans and analysts look at, the stats coaches and players themselves look at.

Doesn't mean Williams is playing as well as Daniels.

But the fact that Williams is RIGHT THERE on Daniels heels on bottom-line stats is reason for optimism for Bears fans. It seems to indicate Williams' floor is probably a statline on par with the Rookie of the Year. I take this as a silver lining, and also proof against the doomsayers.

Of courrrssseee Williams needs to play better. I don't know anyone who disagrees with that. But there *are* reasons for optimism, that statline included.

We shall see, though!

Jayden daniels has not thrown an interception in a close game(within 7 points) this season. 9 touchdowns, 0 interceptions.

A one-score game late, @msadows be like, "That's garbage time."

Sorry, I think caleb is good but your glazing is absolutely stupid.

Jayden has been much more efficient, has a much higher EPA, and also is not completely useless in first halves. He's also been far superior in close games as i showed you above.

Caleb is a large reason the bears keep going down double digits in every game.

The bears offense under fields was more efficient than whatever the **** caleb and the bears are doing this year, but OMG he got passing yards!!!!

Yes, absolutely. I have literally never disputed this.

Daniels and the Washington offense has been playing much better than Williams and the Bears offense. Much more efficient. Looks much more smooth. Daniels looks much more comfortable than Williams.

And yet....

Williams' stats are RIGHT THERE will Daniels.

Also, why are you counting against Williams the games where his performance put them up 15+ points? Shouldn't that actually be seen as a good thing from him and not be used against him?

"Completely useless in the 1st half"

Possession 1: Turnover on downs on a failed 4th and 1 running attempt by Swift
Possession 2: Blind side strip sack while in FG range on a play Amegadjie completely missed the blck
Possession 3: 1 first down and then punt
Possession 4: Turnover on downs on a failed 4th and 1 running attempt by Swift while in FG range

One drive out of 4 did the drive end where you can even come close to saying it was his fault.

In the 49ers game, the last 4 drives of the 1st half ended on sacks Caleb basically had no chance on. You can argue the one was his fault.

It absolutely matters though that he is improving as the game goes on when the going gets tough. How many times has this team and fanbase seen QBs completely give up in these situations? Or choke under 4th quarter pressure?

Hasn't he had several games of 6 or fewer pass attempts in the first half? He absolutely needs to play better, but hard to put a lot of that on the QB when he throws it 6 times in a half.

Caleb is 29th in completion % in the nfl. Jayden Daniels is 4th. Drake Maye is 9th.
Yeah but take away Daniel’s game winning hail Mary(with busted ribs) vs Caleb who did nothing for 59min, their completion percentage would be nearly identical or something!

The garbage time clowns making up new definitions for garbage time.

Also, I think I'll claim Caleb has been playing hurt too since daniels hasn't been on an injury report for over a month but we are still saying he's hurt

One guy has a 101.4 passer rating….. while the other guy has an 88.3

One guy is throwing to one weapon…. numero uno! One! —- while the other guy is throwing to a relative stockpile of weapons

One is playing for a team that was 4 and 13 last year….. while the other guy is playing for a team that was 7 and 10 last year

The guy on the 4 and 13 team is likely headed to the playoffs….. while the guy playing on the 7 and 10 team will be home watching…. eating Cheetos when the playoffs start.

Just speaking facts….

If analysts and coaches only look at the four stats you listed when gauging a player than they need to be fired

I was told they’re the worst and no QB could function behind them. View attachment 42529
We played the 49ers and got zero pressure on Brock. When was the last time we saw a game with Caleb and there was zero pressure on him?

I have to think the Jaguars?

Second question how good our the niners in running the ball? Now compare that to the Bears who haven’t been able to run the ball in 10 years.

Braxton Jones has been blasted back so many times it’s insane.
