Like I've mentioned, my friend---Despite Williams and the Bears offense performing MUCH worse than Daniels and the Washington offense, being a lot less efficient and making everything look SUPER difficult...Williams is still RIGHT THERE with Daniels on the bottom line stats, the stats football fans and analysts look at, the stats coaches and players themselves look at.I don't know!
Doesn't mean Williams is playing as well as Daniels.
But the fact that Williams is RIGHT THERE on Daniels heels on bottom-line stats is reason for optimism for Bears fans. It seems to indicate Williams' floor is probably a statline on par with the Rookie of the Year. I take this as a silver lining, and also proof against the doomsayers.
Of courrrssseee Williams needs to play better. I don't know anyone who disagrees with that. But there *are* reasons for optimism, that statline included.
We shall see, though!
