Hawks could've signed Filppula when he was a FA last summer.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
And that's just it. You're not going to convince me they're going to get better bargains with moving Sharp and Seabrook.

That said, would anyone be opposed to bringing Bolland back on a contract?

OK I may be missing the boat, but he'd be a solid 3C, right?

2c. he would have to be bought out. and yes he could slot to 3c for depth if TT is here which would make this team that much more dangerous

if the blues get spezza or statsny we are in for a long year. I still believe we need to do something than just sit on TT.

Almost guaranteed to be bought out. Rangers still have at least one of their compliance buyouts leftover from the recent lockout.

(For the record, the Blackhawks do not).

If it was 2010 Bolland, sure.

What? Bickell & Crawford were severely overpaid.

Take away those two shitty contracts & they could've had a chance to sign a legit #2 center like Filppula.

I'd take more issue with Khabilbulin and Bollig than those two.

At least Bickell and Crawford showed up in the playoffs.
