Anybody have any off the wall routines for shoulders?
I do barbell and dumbbell military press.
Front shoulder raises
Shrugs
Side Pulls
Anything else that you do that is effectice
I've found that shoulder workouts are most effective when you stay away from real heavy weight/lots of rest between sets in favor of moderate weight/fast-paced training. I do a lot of volume but get it over relatively quickly. It looks something like this
3 sets seated or standing barbell press
3 sets seated dumbell press. I concentrate on flexing the rear debts on these to make sure they are hit
3 sets bent over flys. Palms facing behind me to concentrate on rear delts better
3 giant sets of front, side, & bent over flys with light dumbells. This sucks...hard...but works
Finish off with some kettlebell front raise/squat combo or work the giant rope.
if I do this properly I will hardly be able to raise my arms for a few days
