how can anyone be excited for this 2013 team? I mean I cant wait until baseball because of well....baseball. but this is sad. big market team that cant draw fans making it even worse for 2013 attendance.

Outsider persepective. KW was very tight lipped. You never knew what he was doing unless he wanted you to. My guess is that Hahn is the same way.

I agree but it is getting to that point where pitchers and catchers will be reporting soon. not saying impossible, but unlikely. this is our team. yuck!

We complained about tallon spending money on bulin, campbell and making mistakes with deadlines so we got a new GM in bowman.

Some of you complained about useless spending with KW and dumb trades so we get rick hahn.

Im excited for the season. Big money moves dont win championships. Though I would say screw it and go get a 2B. Beckham is awful. Would love to get Cano

I highly doubt they're going to just have no offense while they re-signed Peavy. Sox have a chance to re-take some of the city back while the Cubs rebuild for the next 3-5 years. They're not just going to lay down.

I too, would do this. Especially since Sale, Peavy, Danks, and Floyd are all potential injuries waiting to happen.

And he could long relieve if needed I am guessing, so that would knock out the need for a veteran reliever, so we could focus on that LH bat
