So are you a Ex NFL player? Because every single NFL coach or QB that I have heard speak on the matter of a new system all say it takes multiple years to learn an Offense. Also Marshall, Trestman, And McCown himself have stated that Cutler is the better option, but since you say differant you are automatically correct? I will believe the people that are actually on the team more then anyone else.
And lets not forget to say that say hasd had 4 new Offense in 5 years. And though he never mastered any he did better then average in all. Imagine what might happen if he is given another year in the same system.

Know i can not disagree that McCown has stepped in a delivered, but lets see it for 2 to 3 more games before we say he is much better in this scheme then Cutler. I hope you are right though because I want the Bears to win first and foremost....But the saying goes you are never as bad on your worst day or as good as you are on your bewst day.

I agree that we need to see more from McCown. But the point is Jay isn't running the offense like McCown is, and I am pretty sure they are both NFL players, and also pretty sure you don't need to be an Ex NFL player to see the difference.

Really, a lot of us do. However, your post shows some of the issue too - to address us as "haters" doesn't exactly lend towards conducive discussions.

But when you have BearsBud and HeHateMe just going after people for bringing up the possibility of it being ok to move on from Cutler, that sort of thing tends to push people who might be more in the middle of the argument to the opposite side.

If EVERYONE could discuss this like that, it would be better.

However, there are some, like those I mentioned who aren't interested really in the discussion - they're more interested in defending Cutler. And for people like that, then yeah, when you realize breath is wasted you tend to say "**** it" and just really dick around with them, until such a time as they make a salient point that is actually discussion-worthy and actually deserves an intelligent response.

Not really addressing you as a "hater" that is why it is in quotations. I think it is stupid to label anyone as a "hater" or "homer". I personally am a Bears fan, and I will back any QB they put back there, and if/when Cutler moves on I will move on. While he is here though, my view on him will be biased since he is a Bear, and I am a Bears fan. Cutler "homers" are just as bad in their arguments, I agree.

You dumb dick, I am okay with moving on from Cutler. You wouldn't know because you have me on ignore right? Also, I'm not "going after anyone" for proposing a move on from Cutler. I just don't agree with certain folks take on Cutler, McCown, and the "how" of moving on from Cutler. Essentially most of what you have been posting all over the fucking place in some sort of attempt to create an online gang against "meatballs" and "Cutler homers"

Sorry if it hurts your feelings that I think you've been a horrible poster lately, I think bearsbuds "Trestman=Lovie" campaign is just as horrible as your BS, but that doesn't mean I am going after posters that agree with you along certain lines, and it certainly doesn't mean I'm somehow alligned with Bearsbud in my views about Cutler.

But keep on trying to start a gang war on the internet, idiot.

Correct..I fight tooth and nail to keep Jay...Till the rookie is ready..if you would actually read the posts people make instead of reacting like a woman on the rag, you might learn something

So I guess you've started to go back and edit old posts so you can claim this was your stance all along?

I think Mariota's stock will tumble here a bit.

Why so down on Hundley?

I will admit that I have only seen him play a handful of times, but in those games he strikes me as a player that has to have everything perfect to succeed. Take for instance the Bruin-Husker game this year. He didn't do much the entire first half, and it looked like the Huskers were gonna roll with the game. Then Martinez played his usual self turnovers, and crap play, and the Bruins surged ahead. He just seems to hot/cold for me.

Stopped reading right there. Calling Bullshit. Many QBs have excelled their first year in a system. Let's stop pretending these guys are Special person, ok? It's not rocket science, it's fucking football.

This magical QB the Bears are going to draft is going to be a better QB then Cutler? Good luck with that.

Finding a QB better suited to Marc Trestman's offense isn't exactly a daunting prospect when you consider that we probably already have one on the roster.

Says the guy who started this infighting and bickering just because I said in a post response to someone else that I thought McCown was running the system better than Jay.

You don't have a leg to stand on to tell anyone they are ruled by emotion and act like a woman on the rag - you've been like a full women's hockey team on the rag for the past week and a half.

Yeah, because pointing out how shitty of a poster you are is "crying like a *****."

One would think your constant whining about me being a "troll" is more along those lines but then again, I'm not going to cry about it.

You could just merge all of them, I'm quite surprised they haven't been tossed into a "McCown/Cutler QB Controversy" thread yet.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
That may be changing however. Look how many good QBs came out of the Luck draft class.

Luck
Griffen (if he could just stay on the damn field)
Tannehill (better than a lot of people, including me, thought he'd be)
Wilson
Cousins (pretty damn good for where he was drafted)

College QBs are more pro ready now than they've ever been. They have more NFL style responsibilities now than ever before, which gives them better training for the pro game and makes evaluating them a bit easier.
That was the best class in quite some time but to put things in perspective, I don't think we're picking top 10 so the 1st 3 type talents wont be there.

Taken before Wilson were Weeden and Osweiler. Doesn't mean you don't take a talent if you think it's there but it's not the slam dunk some make it out to be and the exception doesn't prove the rule. Lets hope this year is another one of those exceptions and we hit but I don't see us doing so without Jay already on the roster in some fashion.

A post I made in the Mike and Mike thread...Just for you teddy

"I dont care what finances they work out, but if they trade Cutler it will be a huge mistake..I can see drafting someone to replace him when the time is right, but to just dump him and start fresh..."

What we need here is a QB forum. :hitler:

Then everyone just bitches because they cant have discussions because no one visits the QB forum.
