Then everyone just bitches because they cant have discussions because no one visits the QB forum.

you might be surprised. it's reaching the same pitch as the Rex/Ortong wars, and nobody complained back then about a "quarantine"

Oh, they will come. I don't think you're familiar with the CBMB QB forum wars of the Grossman days.

Vaguely, every forum had those wars though...

If the people want it, they shall get it. I'll be talking to Crystallas.

I would have to sit down and look at them all to be sure, but the one being discussed earlier against the Redskins would be one. Even the passes that are tipped at the line are questionable to just say Cutler made a bad decision. Sometimes it is possible that defenders just make good plays on good thrown passes. I would think quick throw offenses would have a higher percentage of passes tipped at the line, especially crossing type routes, or plays over the middle.

Damn you're such a petty *****.

FYI - name hasn't changed once since I went to Teddy KGB, neither on the old CBMB forums, and never once here. You're trying too hard.

Correct..I fight tooth and nail to keep Jay...Till the rookie is ready..if you would actually read the posts people make instead of reacting like a woman on the rag, you might learn something

Why can't the rookie be ready right away or very quickly to the point where you can get by with Josh McCown or a cheaper vet like Carson Palmer for a few games/half a season or whatever rather than locking into Cutler for the amount of money and years he will want?

Ok.

A pass that hits the receivers hands, then gets bobbled up into the air, is not a bad throw imo. Jeffery had a reasonable chance to catch it, even with a defender draped all over him. The one that comes to mind that is definitely on Cutler is the pass Harrison Smith intercepted against the Vikings. Marshall was deep, with multiple defenders all around him, and Smith just stepped in front of it. That was a **** it throw.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Purdue Boilermakers
Define lesser.

Because yes, Jay Cutler has a rare arm that few in the league have. His arm is better than Tom Bradys. His arm is better than Joe Montana's was. He's more athletic than both of those guys are/were. Does that mean Tom Brady and Joe Montana are lesser quarterbacks to Jay Cutler? Not in anyone's rational football universe.

So define lesser? Because anyone can just come out and say that, but at least to me, what makes a quarterback greater or lesser isn't just the sum of his physical skills.

Don't be an idiot. Seriously.

Tricky...The McCown situation is just an excuse for the haters like teddy..Anything would do for them

I might be wrong but I want whats best for the team....Yes I am a big Cutler fan, but at the same time can see us moving on from him. I just think the worst way of doing so is by letting him walk and putting our faith on a life long back up and some rookie. Yes there are Rookies who go on to become great players or even just good....but how many just plain suck. Out of all the QB coming out of college in the last 10 years lets say....Really how many have become very good or above...I would be willing to bet that its less then 10%...so should the bears roll the dice when they all ready have a good QB...Yes Cutler is not elite or very good....but he is far better then some give him credit for.....

I have been a Bear fan for to long to know how bad that position can look like. We have waited over 25 years just to get an above average QB on our team and people are so quick to say **** it and lets gamble to improve that Position. Yes the gamble might pay off because there are better QB's out there, but they are hard to come by and harder to predict comming out of college!!!!!

There's a sick, twisted part of me that hopes Cutler doesn't come back, just to see Bearsbud and HeHateMe lose their ever-loving shit.

Even if that's the case, I'll have the satisfaction of them not seeing me lose mine when Cutler is re-signed, since they keep trying to wrongly paint me as some frothing at the mouth Cutler hater in the first place... :smug:

Stopped reading right there. Calling Bullshit. Many QBs have excelled their first year in a system. Let's stop pretending these guys are Special person, ok? It's not rocket science, it's fucking football.

Then you my friend are just as smart as you think you are...You know better then ALL NFL COACHES AND PLAYERS

That throw should have never been made Jeffery had a guy all over him, had a player over the top of him, and there was a LB underneath the route. It was a high risk throw with a low percentage of being caught. It's first and 10 from deep in your own territory. Throw the ball away and move on, don't try and loft it into double coverage. You can say Jeffery should have caught it but I can argue the ball should have never even been thrown.
