I think you just let Brown focus on OC and I would make Hightower the HC. I just wish they would do it this clown deserves to be the first HC fired mid season. He doesn’t even seem to give a shit about these humiliating losses. Just gets up to the podium with that same pompous aloof attitude like his shit don’t stink. I fucking hate him.

The only thing I need you to explain to me is how you can continue to be so incredibly wrong about every take you have, yet you move forward making more and more idiotic takes. How does one do this??
By realizing everyone on here has idiotic takes. That is why we are here and not running the Bears. The only difference is you deluding yourself into thinking your takes aren't idiotic too.

This is kind of hard to really say. I don't think any team needs three WRs like we have, plus a TE like Kmet. It's just too hard to optimize them all and I honestly think it's hard, as a weapon, to always give your best when you're less and less likely to see the ball on any given play. So that said, they probably don't play as good as they would if they were being fed the ball constantly.

Also, in a year, Rome will uptick in snaps and targets. He also should make a bigger leap in his own skillset with a year in the NFL under his belt. I totally get what you're saying. Losing a player like Keenan isn't just a "whatever" thing. But, as you imply, he's not been a superstar for us. Whatever reason... old... rookie QB... chemistry... whatever. Either way, I don't think the offense would look any worse with the improvement of Caleb and Rome, plus the familiarity of all the guys with each other (including Moore and Kmet).

If you look at some of the play calling used for Allen, you'd know why, routes he was running, he was getting them as if he were Tyler Scott or Mooney, guys with speed, which was dumb. I'm not saying he can't do deeper routes, but you have to let him use his route running to get himself open. Today was showing that very thing is possible.

Yea, but then there’s probably a shot they do fill that hole with him gone since he’s not being used properly anyway.

Only thing I “worry” about now is Thomas Brown looks capable and competent. They may end up beating the Vikings, Seahawks, maybe 49ers? Steal something in there from the offense playing well, finish a t 7-10 and Poles thinks “oh they are learning to win” etc.

If Flus finishes the year they need to fire him 8am Black Monday. Far too passive late in tight games.

In the meantime maybe Caleb can actually progress now.

Would it shock anyone if the Bears looked marginally average on offense the rest of the year; hired a new coach in the off season and forced Thomas Brown onto that HC staff as the OC?

It sounds exactly what the bears would do.

Always expect something stupid from the George bears. As long as he’s involved nothing will make sense. Except to @remydat of course he’s down with it

Or what would you do if they elevated Brown to the HC position?

I wonder if he tries to pretend that he has poor phone reception again on air

Assuming it is an offensive minded head coach then not sure it would really matter as assume the HC would be calling plays.

Never said I was down with it. Said it would be a very Bears thing to. Some of you just struggle with reading comprehension.

The only benefit to it would be all the meltdowns on here if it happens.

Or they could be like a real professional organization and let the newly hired HC hire his own staff.

Sure just saying it is just a pointless thing to cry about. If TB stayed it would be because the new HC wanted him to stay. Yall get really silly with the conspiracies.

Like you think the Lions forced Ben Johnson on Campbell as he was there before Campbell was hired.

Haven't the bears forced their OL coach on multiple HC now?

Wipe the slate clean......if the new HC wants to keep him...fine....but end the holdover crap that's typical bears
