I'd hate it, but could possibly see it if I squinted hard enough.....IF he were the interim HC the rest of the season.......but as an OC under fluberbus having some marginally success with the offense should in no way make this guy a candidate for HC

1 shitty year as an OC for Carolina

9 games as replacement OC for the bears this year

It would be an awful hire but par for the course
Holy shit. Someone finally grapsed the point of the thread.

Let's say Caleb looks good to close out the season and Brown's play calling looks legit.

Would be the most Bears move ever
for Bears to fire Flus and just make Brown Head Coach for the sake of continuity and Caleb having a 2nd year in the offense.

Sounds like Antonio Pierce and the Raiders.

Guy has called one game.....with both tackles back.....they scored 19 points and meatballs are really suggesting him as the HC ?????

I'd rather have a Vrabel......and I'm not intersted in pairing him with Williams
Does that tell you how low the bar is around here? We’re so desperate for competence we mistake it for greatness…

If Brown can continue to help CW and the offense.....how is it "only worse"??
Brown has better credentials than the past the OC's and 'Flus . Look at the credentials
Which credentials scream head coach?

10 months ago he was fired by the worst team in the leauge and the bears didnt even deem good enough to be OC

But....bears gonna bear

The only Panther wins came under Brown's play-calling. (I'll double check that)

Brown has a SB under his belt .SB winning HC Sean McVay promoted him to OC and has spoken highly of Brown.

Rams HC Sean McVay talking about new Bears OC Thomas Brown: “He’s one of the greatest competitors I’ve ever been around.”
--------------------------------
“Yeah, he did such a good job here. You guys met Thomas, so just the command, his charisma, just his natural presence, and his ability to connect with guys. He was the assistant head coach here.

.Brown comes to Chicago with four seasons of NFL coaching experience and nine at the collegiate level. Brown most recently served as the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers (2023). Prior to his time in Carolina, Brown was with the Los Angeles Rams for three seasons in various roles, including the final two as assistant head coach.

Jeez.....love how you never admit you're wrong

You said McVay made him OC when in fact he did no such thing

But please, reply back with quotes, bolds, italics and totally seperate talking points.

Hopefully he's shown the door with every single coach on this awful staff.

If Brown can continue to develop and properly utilize CW within the offense....who in their right mind would wanna see him gone?

Why do you post like this? Honestly?

I have to think each post takes a lot of time to compose.

Do you realize how much running and shitting you could with the time you'd save?

This is a great point. He has to run and shit because he takes so long to compose posts on a message board.

Never thought about it like that.

Good thing that is not what I said. I said it is silly to judge him by wins and losses when Poles tore down the roster. His record this year certainly can be held against him.
Cool, so the first year doesn't count.
That means D. Campbell is 30-14

Don't care as I have never said shit about Campbell's overall record.

The new offensive minded HC with his own offense and OC

It depends on what happens as the season unfolds. I'm sure the development and proper utilization of CW within the offense will play a role in any potential hiring process

Here’s a crazy but true item, Thomas Brown and Sean McVay are both 38. The Rams hired McVay when he was 30 years old. That was a huge gamble.
