you already created a thread for this.

Also, the only time you post in the sox forum is for a KW firing. Please feel free to share other opinions as well.

Reinsdorf: Take a cue from the Cubs & Fire KW!

I completely agree, Hawky. The last 3-4 years of GMing on the south side of Chicago has been horrible. It is time for the front office to get off their asses and make people accountable. Start at the top, with the GM, and work your way down through the coaching staff, including the hitting coach. The only person that deserves a pass is our pitching coach, Cooper, who has done an unbelievable job year-in-year-out.

KW should be fired for one reason. Not firing Ozzie ( he should be able to nut up and tell JR to drop his loyal personality traits )

There are a couple of bad moves the past few years.

Rios- nuff said.

Peavy- douchebag

Dont bring up Ejax again for hudson Joe. he was traded to be flipped for Dunn. Daniel Hudson. oh who has a 3.76 ERA and a WHIP of 1.26 with a 6.8 k/9. How does that look in the AL?

You cannot use Dunn unless you are a casual fan who doesnt follow baseball at all. a career .250 hitter .381 OBP and a .902 OPS who is in their prime. Sorry I still make the signing.

There have been other things that he has done though that have been positive. Re upping AJ and Konerko. de aza who was given up on by the marlins. how about moving teahans bad money, moving jackson and getting an insurance policy to jesse crain. oh and a little bit of help from zack stewart.

We have possibly the worst system in MLB.

Who scouts for this team? Stevie Wonder?

At the beginning of the season we were ranked 26th, not the worse but close to it.

I like how everyone thinks that if we fire everybody all of our problems will be gone. It doesn't work like that. Ozzie should be forced to take his talents to south beach I agree with that.

Firing Kenny would serve what purpose though? Seriously someone give me an elaborate explanation on why you'd fire him, who you would hire to replace him, and what you expect the next GM to accomplish...

Either Ozzie goes by way of Kenny firing him or they both go.

Get rid of Greg fucking Walker and Ozzie. That will help the problem. Things aren't going to be fixed in one year by firing everyone. You also think that Angelo should be fired and yet the Bears have been in the NFC Championship twice in the past 5 seasons.

We disagreed earlier here in this thread I believe. Of course you fire Williams for last years Dunn fiasco. He couldn't make a three way call. Seriously any Sox fan that doesn't count this against Kenny is at a minimum missing the boat

Angelo doesn't draft well and isn't always the best GM, but firing him doesn't mean that the problems magically go away. Same goes for KW. He has done good things and tried to make this team better. You can't blame him for the players underachieving.

Washington dropped out unexpectedly on the Sox. It wasn't Kenny's fault. Blame the National's GM.

You're absolutely right he is only part of the problem albeit a big part. The other problem is ownership. When Virginia McCaskey dies the Bears should see an upturn.....hopefully. To pull out JA's two Championship games as if that's even close to being acceptable is ludicrous.

As for KW, if this was any other team he would be on borrowed time. Because of JR's "loyalty" he has been able to make far more mistakes than 99.9% of teams would tolerate.

I only said that because there are teams out there that are worse. Be happy for the success that we've had.

I understand that because JR is so loyal that KW is allowed to make mistakes, but most of the "problems" with the team haven't really been his fault.

Not his fault? Have you seen the moves that he's made in the past three seasons alone that have backfired?

As team president, the state that the farm system is currently in is also his fault as well.

It would get a gambler out of the GM office. We need more stability there. There is a reason 31 other GM's didn't touch Rios with a 10 foot pole. There is a reason why Peavy was on the market for 2 years and we were the team that finally got him.

KW gambles. It paid off in the distant past. It hasn't paid off in the recent past. I would expect the next GM to bring A LOT more stability to the job.
