I predicted the Bears would win 11 games, Caleb would win OROY, and the Bears would win a playoff game. Washington it turns out did everything I predicted and even surpassed it with a second playoff win. They are exactly what I thought the Bears would be, it sucks yet again to get gut punched by this shit franchise.

I really hope Washington wins and gets to the super bowl, it’s a great story. They are fun to watch, unlike us who are painful to watch.

Wait, Daniels was more “NFL Ready” than Caleb now?!

Man, how drastically the narratives have changed since the draft lol

Caleb was always going to need to be developed, ideally he could have sat the entire year. It doesn’t mean he still doesn’t have a high ceiling but admittedly Daniels has shattered his. Daniels is two years older and has extra experience so yes he was more NFL ready but nobody could have predicted this run.

I remember what you thought back before the draft and it was all 100% wrong but you fought me tooth and nail and when I was 100% right you disappeared so why don’t you just do that again when it comes to me.

Lmao all I said was the narrative was different pre draft…folks thought CW was the more NFL ready guy. Am I wrong?!

And I have no clue what on earth you’re blabbering about being right about and leading to me to “disappear.”

But hey, if it’s somehow true(it’s not), then hey I’m sure you’re sitting in your moms basement with your chest puffed out

Nobody said Caleb was the most NfL ready for one. He was considered a generational talent who needs development. Highest ceiling for career, not year one.

You must have amnesia or you can’t admit when you’re wrong. I don’t want to get into it again as it would just bore people. Anyone can find it if they are curious.

Have a good night.

Then you didn’t actually lose the opportunity to win that much since if you had taken Monty out of the parlay, it would have paid out considerably less
Well yeah but not $0. I think it was like $350. Not the best

I've had Daniels having a better season then C.W for a calendar year and had him going #2 overall since early last December long before most draftniks who were still on the Maye train. None of this is surprising if you were to watch his tape without bias.

lmao who was the QB that was more ready than CW that was actually an option at 1?

and sure, i have amnesia....i dont recall some "spat" between you and I from a long time ago on a sports message board.

imagine wasting your brane memory on that! and fr, i have no clue what "spat" you are referring to. i have doubts it was me or that it was some amazing "got me" moment. would love to see you present it

How many college games do you think Caleb started? How old is he? NFL ready does not mean highest ceiling. Two different things.

Yes you clearly forgot (conveniently) our conversations which is fine it’s just a board who cares it was a while ago.

It’s brain not brane, 😂

And I’ve asked you to please refresh my memory

And no shit is brain. My god, you must be a blast to hang out with

I don’t care what you thought I was talking about consensus around the most nfl ready qb for year one and that was Daniels for the reasons stated.

I don’t want to go back to that conversation as it was negative banter that nobody wants to read I’m sure. The end result was everything I said came out to be true.

We will never hang out so irrelevant.

Respectfully I’m not interested in this topic (Daniel’s) as I’m more focused on the new coaches right now. If you would like to join in on that conversation you’re obviously welcomed to.

You’re a quality poster, just stubborn when proven wrong. That’s a you problem not me.

Oh crap, does this mean the use of brane was just an message board joke thing?

Here I was thinking the two or three posters I saw using it worked on quantum mechanics by day and posted about the Bears by night.

it sounds to me like Daniels has a better foundation than Williams

I mean it's textbook definition insanity to think such, but I'm really hoping the Bears finally end this bullshit carousel streak with their coaches

Lmao any actual links to anyone reputable claiming daniels was the most NFL ready QB entering the draft? Not revisionist history? Daniels was considered a raw prospect, he was considered a runner that would get hurt running in the NFL due to being too small

And again, what on earth are you referencing? You could always just PM me a link to whatever “argument” between us you’re talking about instead of being a coward that just says, “oh it was negative, nobody here wants to read it again” as your excuse for not bringing it up.

If you were so much more correct than I on something, be proud and tell me what about, lil one

You sure do have a strange way of not being “interested” in talking about this. You won’t say what, but you’ll say over and over again how it happened. MAKES YOU THINK…

And when proven wrong, I have always tended to own it on here. Hell, I’ve even had @BaBaBlacksheep comment before on how he was impressed someone on CCS could just admit when they were wrong when I did so regarding the draft position of the QB’s in the Will “Mayo” Levi’s draft. So spare me the whole stubborn when proven wrong bit

I was trying to be polite. I’m just going to bow out of here as I said I don’t care about this topic or any interest in bringing up the past in an attempt to embarrass you.

If you really want to know and can’t find it you can DM me or we can just move on which is my preference.

yes, being polite is telling someone they have amnesia

so above it all!

i wouldnt even know how to search for it...how can i search for something when i dont even know what i am searching for?

pretty amazing to bring something up repeatedly without ever divulging what it is...class act! Id love to know what it was, but clearly that would inconvenience you too much. so maybe just learn to shut your mouth next time if you arent willing to say what it is after bringing it up. itll save everyone time

i never used to think of you in any negative way...willing to give you a pass on it this time due to not recalling you ever being a dick till now

Honestly I regret bringing it up because I know for me I can’t stand to read threads with two people arguing about old water under the bridge.

I’ll give you a hint though: contract extensions. Maybe that will jar your memory.

it does not jar anything

again, feel free to just PM me the actual discussion. i still think you may have me confused with someone else. and if it was me, i have no clue what contract extensions you are referring to

so yes, spare everyone the back and forth and just own it and tell me already. you clearly wanted me to know it initially
