it does not jar anything

again, feel free to just PM me the actual discussion. i still think you may have me confused with someone else. and if it was me, i have no clue what contract extensions you are referring to

so yes, spare everyone the back and forth and just own it and tell me already. you clearly wanted me to know it initially

It’s definitely you I remember the name because I used to love that MTV show with Johnny Knoxville lol. We went back and forth for a couple days about it. It was always respectful. I’ll PM you it. Again, I should not have brought it up so I’ll own that. My bad.

If Jayden Daniels leads his team to the Super Bowl during his rookie year, Bears management and the biased local sports media will forever be viewed as idiots.

No the problem here is I know you loved penix and have him number 1, I have at least 1 of these claims bookmarked.

Iirc you were very very low on Daniels.

Now you are deflecting to this other argument or points when the premise of the thread is you were wrong, but you’re not accurately describing how wrong you were
When it comes to position rankings in drafts. Good freaking luck even if you're a GM. I wanted Mooney before that draft but that he made it pretty big only means that I got lucky with that guess, not that I should be a GM.

What's troubling is when it's so important to someone to look good that they hedge as though they almost got it right, especially when they didn't. LOL.

People will call me on this so let me slide my new reality in here to soften the blow.

Lmao all I said was the narrative was different pre draft…folks thought CW was the more NFL ready guy. Am I wrong?!

And I have no clue what on earth you’re blabbering about being right about and leading to me to “disappear.”

But hey, if it’s somehow true(it’s not), then hey I’m sure you’re sitting in your moms basement with your chest puffed out
No one with a brain would think that coming from the college system he was in. Blend of air raid and option.

I also ove what Jayden is doing and if continues to out perforn CW that's fine by me as long as he becomes a VG QB. Drafts are hard.

Here's a good take on things that reflects a lot of my feelings at the time. He tended to run whenever he scrambled and took some heavy hits on that thin frame. Looks like he's a quick learner because he did those things better this year in an O that allowed it.

None of this is an either or for me. It would be fun if he made it to the SB this year. CW has plenty of time to become more and he's finally in a position for no excuses as I suspect they tweak the OL and has Johnson.

No, if Jayden Daniels turns into a consistent stud and Caleb Williams completely flops they will. But if they both turn into studs nobody should give a shit about their rookie years

Quite honestly, anyone that calls the bears idiots for drafting CW and not Daniels is an idiot themself. It's not like it was some egregious mistake at the time

Wait, Daniels was more “NFL Ready” than Caleb now?!

Man, how drastically the narratives have changed since the draft lol
I think I’d rather discuss my favorite hoagies instead of the OP trying to cover his ass. This is a now a hoagie thread. I’m going with an Italian hoagie. How about you?

Not a big fan of me being completely and totally right about this. The haul would have been sweet.

I try not to eat a ton of bread but if I’m going to it’s going to be a meatball with melted provolone and a blizzard of parmesan cheese

There used to be a place in South Holland that made these awesome grinders. Can't remember the name of it.
