So basically what I get here is that he won a WS therefore he is a great GM.
Nope.
Try reading again.

How exactly did Moneyball fail?
Do you know what Moneyball is?
Moneyball is quite well and alive and the 2010 A's showed that.
they are always rebuilding.
But when they won't it all in 2005 Kenny gets credit? So in 2004 it wasn't Kenny's fauly, in 2006 it wasn't Kenny's fault but by some baseball accountability miracle Kenny gets credit only when the team succeeds in 2005 and 2008?
What blame does he have for the massive fail in 2007?
moneyball has yet to win anything.
So all those other teams he built and that failed get has no fault in?Of course he gets credit for 2005, he built the team
Yes, the A's did have to rebuild their team concept and strategy. When you revolutionize baseball the way Beane did and you run a small market team you have to rebuild your team. That doesn't happen over night.
Would anyone like to place money on the A's having the best ERA in the league

You figure after so long he would have either wisened up and fired Ozzie or built a manager error proof team. Why should he? He built teams that were capable of winning. Jerry and Ozzie managed them to futility.

Why do you think Jerry doesn't manage here anymore or Ozzie is one more missed playoffs away from losing his job?

A's are loaded.
Haters gonna' hate.
Not much to hate when you finish 10+ games under .500, 3 of the last 4 seasons.

Well considering the A's have Connor Jackson, David DeJesus, Josh Williamham, Ryan Sweeney, Daric Bartin, Mark Ellis, Gio Gonzales, Trevor Cahill, Brett Anderson, Dallis Braden, and a good bullpen, I agree there really isn't much to hate.
and the years before that?
So if the Rays arent competing in 2013 is it now a horribly ran organization? The A's had to completely rebuild their team.
I am still waiting on a white sox fan to tell me what Moneyball is.
A good bullpen? I think that should be rephrased.
They have an amazing bullpen. They don't have a great offense (Willingham and DeJesus will help), but they have a great defense, a pretty good rotation and the best bullpen in baseball.
I think they might win the division this year, though it's still probably the Ranger's division.
They'll get a lot of guys on base. So they'll always have the threat of stealing, scoring on errors, balks (when on third) and when someone actually gets a hit with runners on. I think the A's offense will be good enough, for now anyway.
Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I think Oakland wins it straight up this season. Just IMO though.
