Howcho and trades = Meatball

I would love to see Jack Johnson here. The Kings need scoring. Trade Stalberg?

Then acquire Ruttu for Shaw or another worthy prospect?

Maybe not, but still, we wouldn't give up anything. Lets be honest here... It wouldn't hurt, especially since our goalies hadn't gotten things done before the new win streak, and I'm not fond of what teams are wanting in return for their goalies at this point..... I'd rather have Conklin here than Salak at the moment also.... I just don't want to push Salak too much here, especially when we already have Emery and Craw up here.

Now, thanks to this win streak, everything is being sugar coated and I seriously doubt we're getting anything done as a result.

Its amazing what wins can do for a team... In our case, its a security blanket of sorts to hide all of those issues we had weeks ago.

Each year the Wings look for a solid back-up... and each year Joey Mac proves that he can handle the job. When are they just going to accept the fact that he works well with them and let him have the role?

I think Dr Craw playing back more in the net and our team D *actually* playing a system of D that works for them is the biggest key to this--and I'm still of the mindset that before this win streak, a 5'x9' sheet of plywood glues to the posts & crossbar would have had trouble stealing a game for us.

In other words, if we can take RK at face value (I believe we can), the issue was mostly solved by Bowman the Elder having a chit chat with Q.

All those issues like being near tops in the NHL for the first 48gms?

You know who I would love to have on this team and I read somewhere that he could be dealt if the right deal is presented is Ribeiro from the Stars. He has the speed, skill, and good D. If I were Stan, I would pursue him if he was tradeable.

A life long AHLer for a future consideration? Sure why not.

Something is up though. Do the Hawks need to clear contract players at all? Does Tampa have to add a contract player seeing Stevie Y is on a rampage of trades this week collecting draft picks and shedding salary?

Well that was a quick "future consideration". LMAO

Acco..If Ribiero is available of course you look at the price tag (would be better if he were a right handed shot). Figure that one would be expensive though. Strange that the Stars would be looking to trade him though..not sure if I believe that one.

Sens are getting offers on Vet D-man Kuba..wonder if the Hawks are on that list.

Also looks like Dallas might move Steve Ott.

If you pick up a player that is waiver eligible then you cannot send him down unless you put him on waivers too. So we would put him back on waivers and someone else gets him back...endless circle.

Remember when we lost Craig Anderson? He was a Hawk about 3 times, a Blue 2 times and a Boston Briun once within a week or so, then I think Florida finally grabbed him and got to keep him because they were not planning send him to the AHL.

I don't know, they are 3 points out of the 8th seed maybe they see it a struggle to make the playoffs and willing to shed some vets for youth's
