Jackass thinks Blackhawks are offering a couple or more non-core roster players/propsects and a high pick for Carter from the BJs.

If it even remotely makes sense JJackass will run with it.

Speaking of wanting to come to Chicago, I see some members posted that Rick Nash would never want to come to Chicago but I never saw anyone say why they thought that. Has Nash ever said that he would refuse to come to Chicago and if so why? You would think a heck of a lot of players would want to come to Chicago. By the way I don't think Chicago would trade for him due to the high asking price.

You aren't kidding.

According to Eric Francis of the Calgary Sun, Columbus Blue Jackets GM Scott Howson has steadfastly held to his asking price: an effective player off an NHL roster; two top prospects and a first-round draft pick.

Any other GM would laugh at this.

I want Ribeiro here so bad, I think this team would be the team to beat if we got him. He is due to make five mil. next season, I think this is very interesting and we can afford that. Riberio in a hawks sweater, holy fucken A! this team would be unstopable. PLEASE STAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.

If he wasn't being paid more than $3M, I'd consider it.

I actually don't mind him. Our blueline could use a little pricknish to it. Our blueliners are a little soft and lacking a little dirtiness. Ribeiro would be a good fit in my opinion and i don't think he's overpaid at all for a decent two way blueliners. Stars aren't dealing him but if so why wouldn't he fit here? He has what the blueline depth needs and i do believe he's a right hand shot.

Im surprised Im saying all this myself.

uhm are we talking about Ribeiro or Robidas?

Didn't we have Robidas before the lockout and he mouthed off about us? Despite being under the old regime, he didnt even play for us an entire season, right? Made me think he was an ass hole.. if my memory serves correctly

Ribeiro is a winger...... Robidas is the d-man your talking about and while they both can be pricks,

And just for the info, Ribeiro is left handed. Robidas is right-handed.
