Sens are getting offers on Vet D-man Kuba..wonder if the Hawks are on that list.

Also looks like Dallas might move Steve Ott.

Kubas pretty old but still has some offensive game left. He's a left handed shot which we don't need really on our blueline. But he does block shots, is a UFA at the season end so no commitment needed there which is good. His give away numbers aren't the best but meh there are worse options out there..just wish he shot right.

Steve Ott can burn in the hockey pits of hell. No need for his shit on this team.

Kyle Quincey is off the list...he went to Tampon Bay and then moments later from there to the Wangs. He would have been a good add.

Ottawa isn't going to be sellers. I don't see him being traded.

No thanks to what? I wasn't implying we needed him I was answering Tonys question.

RK, I never said we need him it was my opinion in what I thought, I never said you wanted him. just an opinion like the semin opinon that everyone commented on, that I had mentioned he might be traded, but I would not want him as he is lazy and shows not team effort....(sigh.)

Here's the linkey to that deal....

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired center Antoine Vermette (AN-twuhn, vuhr-MEHT) from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a second-round draft choice in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft (acquired from Ottawa), a fifth-round draft choice in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and goaltender Curtis McElhinney.

I swear I should just post all my transaction list findings into this thread instead...

Since I know how unreliable McElhinney is, I'm sure it was for the draft picks... and MAYBE as a backup goalie... Maybe...

With the shit Mason pulled the other night, McElhinney migh get the starting job for the rest of the year.

This may be old news but, its flatering none the least, Ryan Miller is quoted saying the only team he will wave his no trade clause is Chicago. Thats pretty cool to think that someone at his caliber wants to come here, why not he is smart.

Pretty cheap for vermette in my opinion. Anyone leaving Columbus will have bounce back seasons next and for the rest of this season. Columbus is a wreck those players with half decent talents stopped playing in November

Speaking of wanting to come to Chicago, I see some members posted that Rick Nash would never want to come to Chicago but I never saw anyone say why they thought that. Has Nash ever said that he would refuse to come to Chicago and if so why? You would think a heck of a lot of players would want to come to Chicago. By the way I don't think Chicago would trade for him due to the high asking price.

Nash is overrated and overpaid.
