Well, actually, Mick made many 'dumb ass comments' after one and two games. In a way, Mick caused all this shit himself. He quickly lobbied for labeling Mitch a bust, and even insulted the look of his family picture.

:lmao:

Mick's cult-like detractors got him trending like a YouTube video gone viral just trying to get him to change his spots. Like a bunch of women tryin to "fix" their man.

Link it or stfu.

http://www.chicitysports.com/forum/...-Mitch-Trubisky/page4?highlight=Chase+daniels
Nobody thinks Daniel is good. He's just the only other QB we have who isn't Mitch Trubisky. I would much rather have a more established average journeyman, but we don't have one. Trubisky isn't a viable NFL QB and we have a championship caliber defense.

I dont know whats worse someone thinking Danials is good or someone who knows he is bad and still wants to go to a bad backup rather then developing a young inexperienced QB? Actually calling for a bad QB to stop the development is way worse.. "football Stupid" at its finest..

Pretty sure you were one of the idiots still making excuses for Cutler years after I told you exactly what he was.

Link or STFU?

lol I was very excited when we got Cutler.. but after a few years I kind of just gave up on him being anything other then just an average QB

I didn't want Daniel to start unless Trubisky never figured it out and kept playing as awful as he was at the time.

lol bs. you wanted him to start over MT in the "should we start Chase daniels thread" Be a man and own up to your stupidity..

So here was my first comment in that thread ....

Not that Daniel is the answer, but what do you do if you're 8-6 and holding on to the playoff hunt by the fingernails solely because of a dominant defense while the QB play is still terrible?

So yes, like I said, I only wanted Daniel to go in if it was 1) late in the season, 2) the defense had kept us in the hunt, and 3) Trubisky was still playing as badly as he was early in the year, when I made that comment.

So not "bs" at all. The only bs was your disingenuous comment about me wanting Trubisky benched for Daniel at that point. You should apologize.

Mick really wasn't incorrect with his posts about Trubisky. Let's face it--he sucked the first few games. Mick's comments were more of a "If & Then" nature than any sort of prediction--not all of them though. (But he may have been wrong about the Niners--granted JG got injured due to stupidity)

I don't understand this post at all. I can and will enjoy whatever success Mitch has to the fullest, and I'll be honest about what I think of his play, good or bad. Why wouldn't/couldn't I? It's as if you think I need the approval or acceptance of some posters on the internet to enjoy the Bears. Your post is utterly bizarre.

I know that’s your go to response yet here you are defending yourself post after post in the aftermath of a great performance by our young franchise QB. That’s the point. Doesn’t appear you get to enjoy to the fullest.

You're still not making any sense. Why do you think a handful of overly sensitive fanboys on a message board takes anything away from my enjoyment of the Bears winning?

Also, not sure if you've noticed but these call out threads always backfire on the poster who starts them. They get roundly mocked for being sad sacs while I lol.

Midway has the weirdest posts of anyone in these threads, even though he's not even one of the angry triggered homers in question. He seems to have this bizarre idea that CCS is life and if noonthirty or msadows start a call out thread that it someone disallows or disables my enjoyment of the game. It's the oddest thought process. I truly don't understand it.

Maybe if you hadn't made not one...but two....."Watson is the greatest of all times" threads then maybe everyone wouldn't be all over your ass. But you did. You purposely trolled to rile people up. Guess what. It worked. Now that it has backfired you are all aghast that the idiot Bears fans don't understand your intelligence and foresight...........GTFO

What has prob. not been said in 10 pages of this thread, and what is the main point, is on draft night bearmick said mitch should be given patience since he is a rookie.

Then, he was the leader of the "mitch sucks" parade. Yea, dude can change his opinion and want the best for the franchise, but he is also the definition of a negative nancy on this board.

yep you said that in the beginning and then changed your tune as the thread went on.. the post right before the one I linked to was..

I see I have to make this point yet again.

Developing is one thing. Learning the system is one thing. Getting used to your new coach and teammates and gaining experience is one thing.

HE. CAN'T. HIT. WIDE. OPEN. RECEIVERS.

He can't play football. This isn't an issue of developing, it's an issue of the kid is bad at the game.

NFL QBs don't need to be fluent in a system to be able to make a basic fade pass in the end zone to a top level 6'3" receiver. Not being experienced in a new system has nothing to do with completely overthrowing your deep balls when the WR has two steps on the DB. Lack of system experience doesn't cause a QB to be completely oblivious to open guys when there's little pressure in the pocket. It doesn't cause 75% of his passes beyond the first down marker to be inaccurate to the point of being uncatchable. It doesn't cause him to miss 5 out of 6 throws that should have been TDs.

These are basic fundamentals of being able to play QB. Any NFL QB could do these things on day 1 before they've even seen the damn playbook. He isn't an NFL QB.

this post you rail on about Trubiskys problems not being being a development problem but he just cant play football..

And then the next post was you calling for Danials, but admitting that Danials wasnt good.. You didnt want to take a wait and see attitude and give Trubisky time to develop, you just said its not a develop issue but just that he is not a football player.. at this point in the thread you have given up on Trubisky 100% and wanted to move on to Danials..

You're certainly right that I got people riled up. Heavily triggered I'd say.

But the only backfiring has been on them when they make these threads and proceed to be mocked by numerous posters, while I sit back and enjoy the show.

I have no idea what you said on draft night. Why do you know what I said? Why do you care so much about me that you even remember something like that? Am I literally the center of your life? Stop treating me like a celebrity. The creepiness of it is starting to overshadow the amusement. Do you watch me at home with binoculars across the street? Find someone else to stalk, weirdo.

This isn't a very good apology. Give it another shot.

I would like to sincerely thank Bearmick for his contributions to the board and to me personally.

I came into the season wanting to believe in Mitch and wanting to support Mitch and I needed some counter pressure to ensure that I was defending him and believing in him for actual reasons and simply not blind faith and a need for him to be the Bears franchise QB.

Because of the counter pressure of posters like Bearmick I educated myself about advanced stats and DVOA, I started re-watching the throws and doing a little bit of my own charting. I started to form an opinion based more on deep study than simply on what the box score was and what the narrative was.

Without some counter pressure I would have not been as credible in saying that Mitch was getting better and was no where near as bad as the national people were spouting off about.

I remember 5 years ago you said Shea was going to be better than Chandler. Fuck you Mick!

P.S. I have no idea if this is true but just trying to get on the Emo team.

Nice, so when someone proves you wrong nonstop you say they are obsessed with you? Literally takes about 5 minutes max to search for something, and it’s not like I was searching specifically for your opinion bud. I went back to see rapid reaction on Mitch being picked, that’s what you said. Not my fault you like being negative about every aspect of the team.

Here is how things work, when you have 30k posts, which is a metric fuckton on a sporting website btw, and are the most negative poster on the board not named Spartan, you are going to get shit for your negative posts because there are more than just a couple.

Not really that hard to pop into a random old thread not even looking for your negativity and then finding goldmines. That's seriously how your take has been towards this organization. When your only counterpoint for having the patience of a little child is that I am obsessed with you, that is kind of a sad argument.
