My favorite teams
I'm going with DMelt here. No way this organization (McD specifically) has him participate.

You don't have to suspend him to tell him to stay away from training camp. You hope the case has some further step take place though before the season begins.
It's not presuming guilt to say, you are dealing with a legal issue so keep yourself at bay until further notice.
This is pretty much what I was thinking of how they could cover it. It also doesn't presume guilt to say, "you're going to be a mega media distraction near a college campus that has a lot of bars and easy Catholic girls."You don't have to suspend him to tell him to stay away from training camp. Well I think the major difference in comparing those situations is the competence of John McDonough and Ted Phillips. The Bears signed R. MacDonald with various accusations against him and it was a big deal to some, the minute those new charges came up....he gone. Kind of similar situation here, allegations against PK but no charges. I think the Hawks are having a hard time with this decision but will end up waiting for charges before suspending him. I'm also thinking the league will let the Hawks decide Kanes participation in camp and the season.
Yeah...McDonut is about as competant as Rudy Russo from Used Cars.Well I think the major difference in comparing those situations is the competence of John McDonough and Ted Phillips.

Or your ability to spell competent.Yeah...McDonut is about as competant as Rudy Russo from Used Cars.
Well played...Or your ability to spell competent.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself. The irony was too much for me to take. that said...I also love that movie.
Awwww look, Trev is all insecure that a noob's intro post is better than anything he has ever written. That's kinda cute. If you really want to impress men posing as attractive women over the internet with your pseudo alpha tactics, then rustle up members with 20-50 posts. I know it takes a higher degree of confidence, but you can do it buddy!
I personally would be surprised if Kane starts camp with the team, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him come in a few days after things get going. At the end of the day though, it is going to be a "distraction" whether he is there or not. If Kane is there, he will likely have reporters swarming him every available second. If Kane isn't there, then those reporters are just going to go after the notable guys on the team and try to get them to talk about it. Either way there is going to be some degree of distraction at some point. The team and Kane are going to do what is best and luckily we will find out what that is in just a few days.
Well there's absolutely some sort of probability of his guilt because there's an open investigation into something he may or may not have done.
You do not have a player show up to training camp when an open investigation involving him is ongoing, especially when it's a rape investigation. You just don't fucking do it. No way in hell. Call it a leave of absence, call it whatever the hell you want. There's absolutely no reason for him to be there right now. It's not going to do any good for anyone. And it'd be horrific from a PR perspective, which is about the only thing the Hawks can control right now.
Not that it's important here, but it's not like this team is suddenly going to slip into the NHL basement if they have to do without Kane at the start of the season. They'll be fine.
