Ahhh now I get it, you are just a Blizzard fan boy...back a ways in the thread when we were all bitching about games needing to be better tested and having problems on lauch day or needed to be patched the first time you put them in the system, you were right on board, but when your precious game comes out and needs fixed on launch date it's ok... So it's ok to ***** about other games being broken out of the box, but not your games... got it haha.

Am I thrilled they had these problems? No wasn't very happy about it but I also know from the open beta experience that within a day it is 95% fixed and by day two you didn't even know there was a problem. I can suffer for two days and yeah I am a blizzard fanboi, I don't deny it, I said it before. I think they make fantastic games, games so good that I am willing to give them a pass on the launch day issues. Now a month down the road and there are still issues then yeah I'll be pissed.

Also practically EVERY MMO has launch day issues and though Diablo III is not an MMO due the logon it is an MMO so the launch day issues apply.

Hell the much hailed (deservedly so) SWTOR had launch day issues.

You want me to ***** about issues, the NHL series has so many fucking bugs in it, the Madden series hasn't being a technical masterpiece for quite some time.

So back to Diablo III take away the logon issues, can someone tell me any game mechanics issues? Yeah there is one, a Demon Hunter cannot give a templar a shield because it causes a server disconnect. That's the only repeated issue I've heard about, from my experience the mechanics all work, the gameplay is solid, sound is sound, graphics are bit dated.

HAHAH I was mostly poking the bear because I know you'd give me a long drawn out response. I don't hate blizzard at all actually, I love that they took so long to bring the game out, and something so massive as this no matter how much you beta test, you can't plan to have a smooth roll out on opening night, not when servers are involved, I'd bet 90% of the problem was the servers and not really their game..... anywho... I want to play Diablo, so who can I pay to set up a gaming computer that will run everything to my tv so I can sit in the living room and play my computer on my TV...

So you're a WoW fanboy then? Because aside from Diablo III and SC2, that's really all Blizzard has in the last several years. WC3 is another, but that was what, 10 years ago?

**** you, eat poop and die. Actually having a gaming rig run on your TV is easy nowadays just have a vid card that has HDMI.

WC2 is still my favorite RTS of all time. The SC series I am not a fan (hate the playstyle of the zergs so when the campaign moved to the zergs I stopped playing) of but understand their impact and the gameplay is solid, I just don't like it. WC3 to be honest I hated but that was because I wanted an updated WC2 basically. Diablo I've never played but it put hack and slash on the map, Diablo II was awesome. WoW, yes I play WoW I've played off and on since the original games. I've raided but now I am strictly PvP with Count Dante and too embarrass TSD he will be joining us.

If it's so easy, then come do it, haha, and I want it wireless so that the system can be in the other room.

BINGO... there is a difference between complaining and insanity. You have to prove gross negligence and unless you have a whistle blower it's near impossible.

I am a blizz fan boy, although I dont play Diablo. Starcraft and Warcraft were very good games. What i also respect is when games are not up to par, they scrap them or take their time (Starcraft Ghost for example) going all the way back to Lost Vikings.

And love or hate WoW, there is no game in the history of gaming thuis far that has had the longevity and success that WoW has. This is why they dont HAVE to make new games.

It is Special person to say it is a horrible game because of the logon issues and that is what is happening. Fine ***** that the problem exists but to say the game sucks because of it is fucking Special person.

I guess that's why I'm still cool with console gaming and buying discs that don't require online access/assistance... although even that is starting to happen (PS3 needing an update for the latest game you bought).

With that said, I am finding it really neat that I can buy mini-games (or whole games) through PSN... I just worry about cluttering the hard-drive.

I am in the same boat in the console world. The only game I play is WoW PC and even then it is a casual play. Also WoW has such a small requirement that I dont have to be bleeding edge PC wise.

But back to online games and issues, the console world is not free of similar issues. Mass Effect 3 mutliplayer started off as a disaster and still has problems. Every EA sports game I have played as issues for a couple days after release.

But as i mentioned earlier, it is much easier and more cost effective to add bandwidth servers and power then it is to scale back.
