My favorite teams
 1. Portland Timbers
 1. Chicago Blackhawks
Ya know...I have to say I like what I see about DARK.

It's like VTM: Bloodlines meets Splinter Cell; both two of my favorites.

Anyhow, I recently had an urge to go retro about 16 years and dust off Privateer 2. Dosbox FTMFW

For me it boils down to I've never really liked the PS consoles, I had a PSX and PS2 but never really had any games for them, the PS2 was a great system but I dunno outside of hockey games and gran turismo 3 I never ended up with any good games for it (not saying there weren't just either they didnt interest me or I missed them). The PS3, Heavy Rain was the only redeeming quality of that console for me. I hated the GUI, I hated the updates every fucking time I turned it on. I think over the course of the shortened NHL season there were 3 or 4 updates. Then the problems I had with the NHL gamecenter app on that thing drove me mad.

Xbox, I bought a ton of games for the 360, The GUI is decent (the latest GUI is weak but has some nice features, though I won't lie the Xbox One's GUI doesn't thrill me) I like a lot of the fluff features if they work right. And frankly I haven't paid any attention to the PS4 outside of the spec sheet.

See this is what gets me about either side of the argument. updates, I don't get that many that I can remember, and when I do I'm grateful because it means they are fixing something. But more specifically saying that their are no games that interest you on PS3 then saying that their are loads of games that you bought for the Xbox just doesn't do it for me. Most games are on both systems. You can't say one system game suck and the others don't because then you are are really just talking about exclusives. And then at the end of the day there are only a few of them for each system that are really worth a shit, so if you want to be a fan boy don't be a fanboy of the system just say the game that you play that system for. I dont' get the GUI hate at all, I have never really seen a version of the Dashboard that has been anything different that what sony does only they have zero style on it. And ads. Plus you have to pay to play online. I get personal preferences and such, you had a bad experience, but a lot of the excuses for one system over the other just don't really make sense to me. At least say something viable like you like the controller better?

I honestly don't understand why the council gave me all the power and told me what to do then I did it and they don't believe me. It's so odd, the only thing I can think of at this point is a conspiracy within the council... but no spoilers, I just broke out of the elevator on the Citadel and am working my way up the side to Saren... I don't see how any of this can possibly end well...

1st bolded: I said that about the PS2 (which was a great console I just never ended up playing the big games for it outside of Gran Turismo). Also yeah a lot of games are on both consoles but with all my friends on Xbox 360, I'm getting it for the 360 so that left the exclusives for the PS3, Heavy Rain was the only exclusive I had any interest in. I'm not saying the exclusives were bad that series by naughty dog (I forget the series name) is supposed to be fantastic just never had any interest, GoW I sorta just lost interest in that series (that was one of the few great games I had for PS2).

Actually I do like the Xbox controller better, makes more sense in terms of the left thumbstick placement (though there are aftermarket controllers that are swappable). The PS3, I dunno I just don't like it.

And as for updates, I get what you are saying but when you turn on the PS3 as a hockey game is starting, I don't want to update the damn thing, I want to watch the game.

Really the PS3 is probably a great system, just not for me. hell all consoles suck **** really, I'm a fanboy of PC gaming. **** these plebeian consoles.

The specs on both the PS4 and Xbox One (seriously what a fucking Special person name) are pathetic compared to my modest gaming rig. I have a couple old video cards, a CPU that is about to be 2 generations behind and a Special person amount of memory, and 2.5 TB of HDD space and I dont have to either consoles fucking terrible servers.

It also is hilarious when someone claims "the next gen consoles will have better graphics than the PCs". Um No, won't ever happen.

Sooo looks like I fucked up and Ashley Williams isn't going to join me, damn, I was going to hit that again. Ohh well still got Miranda. I like ME2 in that it's more streamlined and more detailed and goes deeper with story and dialoug. but the battle mechanics are utter shit. I know they are essentially the same but not being able to heal in the middle of the battle is for the fucking birds. You mean I can revive a team member and give them full health but if I get blasted by a rocket I have to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off looking for cover, only to get to cover and have it not crouch down properly... go **** yourself. At least they fixed the autosave some. I'm not sure I like the new scanning planets fore minerals system as it seems to be just as tedious as the previous system of driving around the map till you find something on radar. They really should figure out a better way to do it. And this whole mission completed screen bullshit? You mean I go to omega get Mordin and they they put me back on the shit I have to go back in to do some other stuff which puts me back on the ship and then I have to dock yet again to do other shit.... come on.... I do like the summary of what happened but why can't that be put in the journal and they leave things open world. Ahh well.. we'll just have to see whatelse they can do to change everything in ME3. It really bothers me that cerebrus flys around and they all recognize me but no one knows who they are... like the secret organization is not secret. and how it was before hey look, geth and a reaper... council... "Nuh uh..." ohh but they just destroyed the citadel... "well yea"... 2 years later... Hey look the reapers are teamed up with the collectors... Council... " Nuh uh... they don't exist" what the ****. bad bad bad writing. They have vast amounts of data on everything and anything but yet none of the data confirming reapers and collectors and such is good enough to convince anyone... **** them. Anderson, I thought you had balls.

Haha, I very seldom play games more than once, maybe twice before i'm done with them. As much because there are so many other good games to play rather than just bored of knowing how things turn out. So if I get to 7 play through on this, it will be teh greatest game of all time. I was actually a little disappointed in the number of side missions in the first game, I realize it's an old game, and some of them only turn up if you do the right dialog but it felt like it all went by fast espcially because every building on a planet you went down to was exactly the same, or underground mine thing. No variation everything was quite rinse and repeat. A little different here but I expected never ending side missions I finished them up about the same time I finished the main quest line, which is not usual for me in games like this.

I RARELY play a game more than once as well. With ME, I have ME1: 3 plays, ME2: I wont embarass myself, ME3 3 plays. But also it is to do the combat as a different class or spec as well.

ME1 is awesome for its story and it begins to touch base on my personal favorite "style" of combat and interface, but it is all about casual and ripping through the combat which is horrible in comparison.

I just came back from surgery and while I was under I had unreal dreams of the blackhawks as lego players. Probably because I have been doing nothing but watching hockey and playing Lego Starwars. Note to video game makers. Lego hockey would be the bees knees. MAKE IT HAPPEN!! Franzen looked funny being hit by Seabrook then smashing into a bunch of lego pieces.

I have sooo many ideas for this type of game. I really should be a creative in the video game industry. I have a zillion ideas. I would make a company millions.

This looks soooo much better. Though I hope it doesn't increase the chance of fights happening at random especially online. I rarely have a desire to fight when playing online. I think it's hilarious and accurate that they chose Emery as one of the goalies to be in a fight clip.

Yes, but do they all have visors?

Annnywho... I just wanted to report that the more I play ME2 the more I love and hate it. The mechanics of the game suck... scan planets... blow me. You can't heal yourself you have to duck for cover? really.... then make ducking for cover actually work or have the ability to move faster work. And every time I come out of cover to too and get hit with something I just stand there instead of going back into cover when I release the button? And the mission layout... god damn, I see they decided that they should ruin this game right along with Dragon Age II... I pray that ME3 is better than this. And hurry up and pile drive Miranda already. They totally kill the open world concept... Citadel is just a few floors now instead of a vast city? Who knew they could make the universe feel so small.

I saw this too. All I can think about is that it will wreck online play with assholes. I would like to see the details of how it is implemented. It seems that this would be bad ass for BaP play though.

The farming of planets is the worst part for me and it is the only part that limits me replaying more. Shadow Broker helps and really, you can get most if not all of the resourses needed by just scanning the systems of planets you are going to from quests.

Not sure I get what you mean with the healing and cover, but since I play vanguard 99% of the time, cover is for the weak, medgel is for my useless non-Grunt party members.

Also not sure what you mean with the mission layout.

If you are pissed about ME2, you wont like ME3 any better. While the planet mini game is dfferent in ME3, it is still a mini game. The "open world" concept is more that there is no set order to the quests that you do, however at certain points in the game, it will "guide" you along.
