There is a new one coming in a similar style, Space Hulk, sometime this year...

Has anyone done the new Bioshock? I saw it hit Xbox On Demand... Was thinking about playing.

While we're on the topic. I can't tell if I'm going to like the new XCOM. it's like XCOM meets mass effect game play wise... Could be good depending on how smoothly it all works out.

Yeah I'm mixed about this one. Also it has spent some time in development hell. It was announced before X-COM: Enemy Unknown, was supposedly to be released first as well and then it got put on hold

Yeah that I knew, but I think that was because it got redesigned. It was passed around too I believe. And the success of Enemy Unknown pushed it over the final hurdle.

All the stuff I heard as well. Based on the gameplay, I think it would be too much micro management. What I liked about ME 2 and 3 was your NPCs were not too bad with their AI. You are certainly more effective if you used them effectively, but the way I played, I just wanted to see them shoot every once in awhile to help me with freezes and not die. Every once in awhile you would see a sexy headshot or something and that was fine.

With Xcom, as I remember from 1000 years ago, it is much more turn based and strategy driven rather than the reboot this looks to be. It might work, it looks like they are using a "timeout" kind of timer to issue commands. It wouldnt be a game I would get out the gate though.

Yeah the one above... but I'm not sure if you know anything about Enemy Unknown but it's not like Declassified in gameplay. It's true turn based strategy and they do it pretty well.

Enemy Unknown is essentially a remake of the originals. Declassified is a shooter based on the X-COM story.

I was just playing some NHL 13 online Vs play. I was Hawks and I was playing against a guy with a username Bostonstrong83 and of course he was the Bruins. I was losing 2-1 with a minute left and scored my tying goal at 19:10 and my winning goal at 19:19. Not usually worth writing about because it happens fairly frequently in NHL 13 for goals to in in the last minute of play, but considering the similarities to Monday night I thought it was awesome.

Another guy is doing something similar with UDK, the two teams have talked about collaborating in the future.

Hi all, it's Paul from Gambit Realm... Nice to see feedback here, positive and negative, all constructive... Thank you.

Beautiful renderings Donny... As someone suggested above, we have always been willing to collaborate with anyone who wants to help with the project... Replacing our artwork with something like Donny's or Havoc's work is totally possible and we would love any suggestions and artwork that people can offer. The game cannot be sold, so why not all work together since we each have unique talents in this area... There are many of these projects on the go, but we are the first to get it to work in an engine to the point where we have AI and clickable objects and flyable craft, etc. But others art much better quality in terms of artwork. Combining the two would be awe-inspiring indeed

So, given that I'm here, anyone have any questions?

Cheers!

I hope no offense was taken! I'm just a sucker for visual accuracy.

I will be downloading the project upon release, and have had the idea of building a team of people to help with the things I'm not so good at, like scripting and character models. So, what has been proposed is an interesting idea indeed.

Last Of Us: PS3 only I believe.

So far, VERY good. Not far into it, but I am totally into it. They have unique ways through their interface to make your experience have an incredible realistic feel. Story is solid but nothing revolutionary, at least not yet. But the graphics are excellent and the play so far has coupled.

I will update more as I get further through it.

Just saw that the Deadpool game was finally released. I don't have much time for video games, but I do love Deadpool if he's done right. Anyone heard anything?

I read the same, at the best 7/10 at the worst 4/10. I also read it was a really short game and playstyle was very hack and slash button masher. Watching some of the gameplay, it looks like a Dynasty Warrior type combat game, which is actually not a terrible thing for me... and has a very comic graphic style.

I was as stoked as you since Deadpool is easily one of my favorite toons in the comic universe. 50$? Nope. 20$? Sure!

Yeah, I hear it's pretty bad, the comedy is pretty typical but not worth buying for.

Yeah, I definitely figured I would wait for it to get cheap if it doesn't appear to be great anyhow. I too, love a good hack and slash (hence my love for GOW)...
