I swear it is that good that I totally would.

But I downloaded it...

Come up with a way for me to allow it for free? TOTALLY live vicariously through my 60$

I'm kidding more than anything... it does look pretty cool - I just have so little freaking time for gaming these days. I'm probably just going to do what Mass is and just wait for the price to drop and pick it up for PS3 down-the-road. Might be a stupid question, but there's no 2-player (in the same room) co-op, is there?

HA! I'm not! Totally would give away free if I could...

Waiting for 20$ games is my usual way as well. This is just one that whether you play tomorrow or in 5 months, it should be played and is worthy of money and time.

Mind you 95% of story games I buy I NEVER finish... When I was telling my buddy about it he replied: "I already bought it. I didnt need to hear your review... 'I finished Last of Us' was enough review needed from you as the source." I am very picky and bore easily...

This is not a co-op, no. There is an online CoD-ish component using the weapons and playstyle of the game, but not of interest to me so I cant speak to it much. For this game, it is actually better there isnt a co-op. I find that co-op games can sometimes lose some of the story appeal, or at least require a different type of story. Dead Space 2: Freaked me out. Dead Space 3 co-op: VERY fun, no so much freak out.

I would not steer you wrong. In fact, as a gentleman's bet, if you DONT find this game to be the uncompassment and the finale of all the PS3 had to offer before the new hotter sexier sister comes out, I will send you the extra 5$ you would have spent.

Stop the endorsement, I may have to bump it up to $30.... which is unheard of when I still have ot finish XCOM and I started Dues Ex last night and have Uncharted 3 waiting already.

You bump to $30, my bump moves to $10. I will go one further to say, any amount you pay above $20 and below $61, and you can honestly say that I was completely wrong, your honor on the line that I will value as colateral, I will pay for the difference.

You have it in writing.

The more I think about the game, the more impressed I become. It just continues to move up my Best of All Time ladder rising...

I wouldn't ask you for a dime on any game that is disappointing to me. That's not what it's about to me. I don't get many games, thus I'm not disappointed in many games, so if I got it, it would be of my own doing and I am sure one way or another I'd get my money out of it.

Of that I have no question. To the point where I put MY money where my mouth is!

There is no other game of the year. When you see articles on sites like Forbes with titles like "Is Last of Us the Greatest Game Ever Made?" and gaming sites with " The Last of Us, the Best Game Story Ever"... I just read it is the highest rated and fastest selling game in PS3 history.

"They" are also calling it the best rated game of all time.

Ok, I will shut up now, it is just so damn good...

I really give it up to Ellen Page, I know she's quickly becoming the video game darling, but she seems to really treat it with respect and put as much into as any other actor. I say this because a lot of times you see games who through celebs in and it seems like they are just going through the motion and picking up a check based on their name. Between this and Remember me she's kinda becoming the go to, and I love her as an actress. Seth Green as Joker was the same way.

In my opinion, it was really Ray Liotta who jumped actors into voice acting for games with GTA.

I think you may be mistaken if I read correctly, Ashley Johnson is the voice of the main character in Last of Us, Ellen Page is just arrogent enough to accuse Naughty Dog for "ripping off her likeness".

But I agree with you that voice acting in video games makes or breaks the game in so many cases. Last of Us is very good here as well.

It might be that actors have also realized how much money video games make. Which is now estimated to be more than movies and music combined.

I agree with Ray..... I didn't not know she wasn't the voice of Last of Us, I assumed she was from the likeness. I was actually honestly wondering how she found time to do them both, now I know. I guess I got wires crossed with them both coming out. Her and Willem look excellent in what I've seen from Remember Me.

I guess my main thought is that I like how video games are doing live capture voice and movement and all like in animated movies and making the voice actors be the whole shabang real deal. As opposed to just standing in a both and reading a script like a cartoon guy would.

It can technically be downloaded up to 5 times per account. You just need to share your username and password. Though you might end up with a few extra ps3 purchases you don't remember.

Amen!! Go play any Capcom game to see what bad voice acting can do to a game. I dont care how great a game may be, if the voice acting is poor, the game is poor. It is so important to the game.

It is also on the game companies too to want to provide this level. Many games cost more than movies to produce. Better have the talent to go with it.

Dues Ex is a good example. The gameplay is interesting, and the concept decent so far, the controls are a little wonky and I"m still getting used to them and not being seen, bbbuuut the actor who does the voice of Jansen sounds like he's doing an impression of a constipated Keanu Reeves in Matrix.

Boss battles? I don't think I haven't got there yet. I have only completed the first mission. Which was really confusing because I had the option of talking the guy out of it and I didn't realize you were supposed to make a selection based on what he was saying and I just picked all of the selections once.... needless to say, she died.
