Why is it all PC gamers have to try and convince other people to be PC gamers?

Just stay in your little gaming world and talk about your water cooling or your graphics cards or whatever. No one else cares.

Why is it that all console gamers have to try to do the cost argument and it doesn't hold water?

Just understand you are buying an underpowered, undercooled PoS and live with it.

Insert Disk.

Play.

Ye'up, I will take the PoS any day.

There is nothing PC gaming would provide me over console.

Being totally honest most of my favorite games have been pc exclusives and still are to this day. That arguably is a matter of taste, but thats why i prefer pc to console.

See that's the shit that pissed me off about consoles. Up the price 50 bucks and put a real cooling system in there and solve your problems. That isn't PC vs console that is just being fucking cheapskates

Of course this is all in jest. I could not care less what someone plays games on.

For me, there is not one title on PC that isnt available on console that I would want to play. I have talked to yall enough for you to know, if there was a game on PC I wanted to play that I couldnt play on console, I would go get a :

If I didn't PC game I never would have played Rome 2 the most anticipated game of my personal existence. You get 10k Romans and Gauls battling it out in a city on full graphics, that would bring a ps4 and xbox one to its knees.

EDIT: I dont know if Id ever get a gaming laptop, now those are going to cost you.

Since dell bought them Ive heard alienware went downhill. Id go to a boutique like Falcon Northwest or something.

I never got the appeal of laptops. I mean for work applications sure I get it. But so many people are ditching their desktops for laptops. I can't do it, I hate using laptops, at home I want my old school tower.

Price 11tybajillion dollars and your first born. Base cost is 3k for that thing and honestly Falcon is WAY overpriced. They make Alienwares look cheap.

Yeah, I never got into those Rome 2 -ish games. But i get it.

I have alienwares for... I dunno, like 1998? I dont know if they have gone downhill as I used to be a very avid PC gamer. I dont follow any of it anymore. I havent had issues with my Alienware, but they could have gone downhill.

I would never buy a gaming laptop either... Until I needed a laptop anyway, so I just grabbed an alienware one. Didnt shop around or anything.

I had a Falcon when they pretty much came out 1000 years ago. It is an amazing rig, no question. And yes, it cost me my first born, which is why I havent procreated.

alienware used to be the same way until dell bought them, they started using cheaper components then to make it more affordable. Boutiques like falcon are meant to be ridiculous and over priced. They do nothing but use the latest and greatest. I mean 3k sounds about right for dual 780m's and a 4 core i7 laptop processor. and the fact you are paying a manufacturer.

Actually Alienware hasnt went downhill, when Dell acquired them Alienware still pretty much operated seperately and actually brought up the quality of the Dell XPS line.

I just am done buying already built PCs because of the bloatware that I don't want and they dont give you a copy of windows anymore. You have to have a restore disc made immediately. **** THAT.

by downhill I just meant that they dont use the latest and greatest premium parts available anymore to make them more affordable, which doesnt imply the quality is bad, just that they arent pumping out the uber ridiculous computers they did in the 90s.

yeah that shit is beyond dumb. Why people buy retail copies of windows I dont know either. you can get 2-3 installs off an oem copy on different boxes. when technically it should only work for the first system you install it on.
