Yeah, don't notice it. Games haven't implemented it yet, though Tomb Raider has made use of the light on the controller and it's supposed to actually be pretty useful. I do love the sound on it. It's actually pretty high quality for being on a controller.

Really? I thought I would hate the sound... it's like the rumble to me, which is the first thing I turn off in the controller. Why do you like it?

The games that have used it use it sparingly but use it well. It's crystal clear sounding. It adds to the immersion of the game. Stuff like clips dropping to the ground or gun reloads. As for the rumble I think it works much better with the controller sound. By itself you completely forget about it but with sound it comes to life. Not to mention the rumble is much better than on the ps3.

Serves "you" right if you spend 100$ on a collection or garbage. Never understood why people buy these versions of games with these garbage that is little more than hoarder-house filler.

Most collector's editions are crap some are decent. I've bought a few just because I really really like the game and want the entire experience also some arent ridiculously priced.

Unless there's some extra game content (like getting Shadow Warrior with the bonus Viscrea Cleanup Detail), there's no reason to get a bonus version IMHO.

In fact, prior to the Shadow Warior purchase, the last game I got the "bonus edition" verion was Return to Castle Wolfenstein--and that's only because at the time the apartments I lived in were in the process of converting to Comcast for high-speed internet (prior to there was no broadband and I was stuck with Dialup...it was painful), and I couldn't be arsed to download Enemy Territory over a 56k dialup connection.

Maybe it's not the same thing, but the only collectors edition things that I get are usually bundles... IE mass effect trilogy or Bioshock 1+2 together, that sort of thing. I thought about getting some Fallout ones once because I remember they had some sweet pipboy stuff but even then I couldn't be swayed. I think the coolest stuff was probably with Skyrim but I wasnt' fan boy enough for it. I think if it wasn't such a racket for licensed products and it was more of a service to fans it would be better because they wouldn't be forced to over value that this. They give you $5 worth of actual stuff for $20 more. I see them go on huge sales after the interest is gone, so what that stuff didn't cost much to produce anymore? I don't need you giving me a $4 figure, $5 worth off artwork in a book and some stickers for $40. If collectors editions were really cool and only like $10 bucks more, I bet people would jump all over them. But..... profit.

Wolfenstein sucks now. No multiplayer?

I was #1 on Wolfenstein for Xbox in 2003 for over a year.

Funny thing I was #1/250,000 that ever played in 4 years.... nowadays that's how many toddlers play Call of Duty per day.

There are bundles, and then there are the double-secret-probation editions that have maybe a bit more content to it, a shiny package, and a doll with it. The former, okay, yeah. The latter cam be complete wastes of money. It's like doing the whole Preorder for NHL and getting bonus packs for HUT. It would be worth it if I actually played HUT.

One of the main reasons I want it is because it's single player only. The developers didn't waste time trying to hash in a multiplayer option--if they did the product would suffer.

Ditto on multiplayer games that try to hash in a single player mode. The product always suffers if you move away from your target audience.

Besdies, I'm pretty sure following the release that someone will come up with a game based on Wolfenstein: TNO and it's game engine that will be multiplayer between the evolved Nazis and the resistance.
