this team just has that killer instinct and it feels like they are gaining momentum and becoming this unstoppable force. this is a really special team, they just swept the "best" western regular season team in a conference final. only special teams do that.

I assume the team will be rather quiet regarding Ladd.
Rather innocent looking play that got my boy. Figure it`s a hand injury or wrist by the looks of the replays. If broken then we just lost a hell of a great checking and defensive forward who has been very veeery important for the Hawks up to this point. One of the leagues better shut down forwards in my opinion.
He`s a tough sob though so you never know.
It will suck if he can`t play the final series as this will be his last year in a Hawks jersey. He deserves to be out there in the final.

i don't feel like pulling out the mocking photoshops for this series. the sharks put on a hell of a fight and didn't go overboard like the trashy nucks did. the post-game comments by mclellan were classy and he gave the hawks lots of props.

First off, huge props to Huet giving the little pep talk/congrats to Niemi after the horn sounded.
I want a print of Toews/Byfuglien together congratulating Niemi as those are the 3 biggest forces so far in these playoffs!
I loved the man hug that Versteeg gave to Setoguchi.
What class by both teams... can't hate the Sharks whatsoever and they played a great series outcome not withstanding. Also, we have the best "C"aptain in the league and it's not even close!
Do you guys get it yet? Has it sunk in? The Blackhawks have to go AT WORST 4-3 and we're there... here's to a wonderful series and another chapter in the history books!
