Why did you photoshop rex next to lovie?
It's been confirmed. Even EHC tweeted he was actively being shopped.
Ian Rappaport said we tried trading with titans but they had 0 interest in cutler. They just making shit up too?
1. You can win WITH Cutler. You just won't win BECAUSE of Cutler. See 2010.
2. Just because a player has a bad year, it doesn't mean that every year from here on out will be the same or worse.
3. The NFL is very unpredictable. A team has gone worst to first every year for several consecutive seasons. A team has gone first to worst almost every year.
4. Coaching is almost as important as actual talent. No, coaching BRINGS OUT talent. This is especially true with younger players.
5. Just because you sign or draft an offensive player, it doesn't mean that the player is there to only help the QB.
6. Just because a coach has never won the superbowl, it doesn't mean he can't. Every coach that ever coached at 0 superbowls before he won his first one.
7. The QB is the most important position on the field. It still is not a reason to reach for one in the draft when other better players are there.
Was he playing that well before he hurt his knee?
Cutler is average, not bad. Look up the stats.
And yes, the Ravens won a Superbowl with Trent Dilfer at QB in which they went 5 consecutive games without scoring a touchdown.
A) Grossman is not as good as Cutler
B) The 2010 defense was not an "all time great". I am not even sure 2006 was. Very very good, yes.
C) You play with the hand you are dealt. The Bears in the Lovie era were closer on defense than they were to having a great QB.
same shit about the jay hate.
Remember when everyone slammed Jay for not playing with a sprained MCl? Saying he wasn't tough? Good god, football fans are such meatballs. Diabetic playing NFL qb through God knows how many concussions and got slammed for that packers game.
I don't even bother arguing two things when it comes to Jay. Whether or not he's tough and whether or not he's a good qb. Because I believe he's both, and I know I'm a minority
what the **** ever. You will be the first Special person on the next starting QBs jock, well before he ever plays a down. And you will be the first to denounce Cutler and tell everyone how you knew all along he wouldn't get it done.

Watching despbro continue to gloat about Jay still being here as some sort of "win" is hysterical.
Not quite sure how the Bears trying to rid themselves of Jay somehow translates into a big "win" for him. Um, congrats I guess on nobody wanting to touch Cutler with a 200 foot pole and him remaining on the team purely because of his contract.. Yup, that's a huge win alright! lol.
Sorry for turning this into a Cutler thread.

I admit I only read point 1 before saying what I said.Actually the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 7th items in the OP were about the QB...So really this was a Cutler thread from the get go. No need to apologize
You CAN win at a casino playing against the house.
Planning on doing so is not a very prudent/wise course of action.
Saying something is-or was in this case- possible is almost meaningless without noting the actual chances of such a thing occurring. You sound like a 19 yr old telling his father he is dropping out of college because Bill Gates did and became a billionaire.
I agree completely with 2,5,6,7, but wonder what point you actually think you are making to the thinking posters on here. Everyone knows picking some 22 yr old WR or C isn't just for a guy who is most probably gone by the end of 2017. Those who can't grasp this- and unfortunately there are some on here that dumb- aren't going to be swayed by logic or persuasion. They are dumb and it won't ever change unless some sort of rDNA technology emerges for humans in our lifetime.
4 is ridiculous on it's face, and if it were true, coaches like Belichick would command 70M dollar contracts. Coaching is damn important, but personnel is much more so.
Nope, I'm sure he'll have an above average year and be retained for 2016...just to piss off the majority of fans. I'm with despro, JAY 15!...sure as hell isn't gonna get beat out by any of the other scrubs we have on the bench so I'm gonna root him on.i know but after 2015 i think hes gone. Pace tried his hardest to trade him and no one wanted him. His contract is alot lower after next year. Probably be cut if failed to get traded
