Just started playing that not terribly long ago, it's fun.

I prefer it to COD Warzone. With the new map I wish the parachute play was like COD. I like COD multiplayer better than PUBGs arcade mode though.

Havent been on a shooter for awhile... just needed a time waster.. pubg is good enough for that.. a bit dated in ways. did hear rumours for a sequel built on Unreal engine 5 awhile ago.. hopefully it happens.. i need a new shooter.. thought about hell let loose, but dont care for WW shooters

Jurassic World Evolution 2

It was on a nice discount.

I am finding it scratches the itch that similar park builder tycoon-type games don't.

Right now I give it a 7/10, could have been (or be) better with some more immersion in the gameplay loop with the scientists.

Very simple/forgiving park builder if you're looking for something with a shallow learning curve IMO.

Easily one of the best UI designs in terms of linking the player from markers to issues/solutions.

Sunkenland. One of those still In alpha survival games done waterworld style. The guts are there. Could become decent if they continue to develop. grindy... AI has that AI cant miss aiming though. cover is a must. learned how to cheese resources by accident.. dont forage an item completely and it will replenish fully when reloading the game. so take 4/5 of said resource.. or leave 1 item in a container. if you take all it will destroy that source and its gone forevers.

If they could just take Raft, and add diversity to the danger (sharks sized 1-3, whales 1-3, maybe a giant squid, even storms) and then tie those dangers to the ever increasing need to upgrade your raft, weapons, tools, and armor.

Its the perfect bones for a true Waterworld survival game.

Maybe could even add some boss monsters you must beat before you can build a semi-permanent island settlement which you then need to defend from animals, pirates, storms, etc.

They always build the core gameplay systems, drop it on Steam, and run off with short-term profits.

Just got a bunch of older games on Steam since they were on sale for cheap. Arkham series, Mass Effect legendary edition, Persona 4 Golden, Mortal Kombat 11 and some others. Gonna take me a while to get through them all but probably cost me the price of one AAA title so can't complain too much. I'm probably set for the next year and beyond as I had Persona 5 Royal in the backlog as well and the Persona games alone are 100+ hours.

I had just finished putting in about 88 hours into Red Dead Redemption 2's story mode before this which I think I got last year during the winter sale so that tells you how slowly I play things lol

Thought about picking up the Spiderman remaster and Miles Morales as well, but that would've been another $70 and by the time I actually get to them the price will probably lower.

If you get miles morales you get an option to buy Spider-Man remaster for $20 and it will come with the dlc. Option pops up when you put the disc in

Is it true for the Steam version of the game too or just the console version?

Raft was okay. i remember beating it up to that city. not sure if that was the final update or the 2nd to last. Lost my save when i upgraded my rig. IDK what i did with the drive it was on. dont care to look.. anywho would have to start over if I wanted to play it. I remember being bored. im sure ill get bored of sunkenland quick.. resource grind.. and it seems poi enemies dont respawn yet. just learning the game and how to exploit it atm..

Sunkenland is more rust/7d2d.. they gotz sharks too.. dumb sharks, but sharks none the less. AI is meh overall. needs a bigger map, spread out POIs, better graphics etc etc could make this game decent. more intense raids... maybe its cause im early game but the raids on my base are comically bad... Raft is way more polished than this alpha are they gonna abandon this game, but its wasting some time..

i need a green hell, mixed with sunkenland mixed with valheim, mixed with minecraft, mixed with 7d2d...

The raft you want sounds like valheim . i beat 2 or 3 bosses but stopped playing that game. i forget why.. probably work... i need to get back to it one day.

Raft is like an oddly polished proof-of-concept.

Each element of the game is good, but could be further defined to be much better.

I mean **** the game could start you on a Raft and let you build up to a cruise ship or island resort staffed by your NPC workers, and each time you level up or build up too high, the game's director AI throws you a uniquely suited challenge (L4D started this idea)

I quit on 7D2D like 3 or 4 years ago when they did yet another new Alpha release where they OP'd the zombies and made base building much more difficult. I was hoping they'd find their way to a 1.0 release and I could find out if I actually like whatever version they settled on.

Green Hell was one of my favorite survival-horror game experiences of all time, just gr8.

Imagine like the bones of Raft, you start after a boat or plane crash in the ocean near a chain of islands, and when you explore an island (and the story) it becomes like Green Hell Jurassic Park.

You pick up NPC companions and/or lose them depending on your decisions in the story and ability to keep your group alive.

When you reach the ending, you find out only what version of the story your choices allowed you to know, but the game hints at all the places you may have had opportunities to see different outcomes.

I need to get the Raft and Green Hell people into a room lol.

so green hell dino crisis? it would sell. but isnt that already the concept of ark survival... i got it but its in the backlog of shit to play.. i think they made a second one too...

long dark was another good survival but limited in ways.. wish the map was bigger n better... wish you you could build and wish combat movement were better.. i mean you cant even cut down trees youre surrounded by......one day, someone will come along and combine them all and create the goat... if youd ever replace ur pornhub time with game dev, youd have **** u money m8.. give me a few points and credit on co game designer and we can homerunz..

Seems like it will be bland TV garbage like Halo ended up.

TV writers do not do well when given large video game universes to work within.

They end up telling a story they know using pieces they don't.

I hope I am wrong with my cynicism but this looks like they slapped together a common story of a white girl protagonist on a journey to defeat the bad guy who is making the world bad, and just painted it with Fallout branding sprinkled with member berries.

Like 20-30 seconds in my brane honestly asked me if the main girl was Rey from Star Wars and then it went "Look, its Fin!"

Like the cookie cutter was still well formed when this show went thru the production process.

I'll give it a shot either way. I've never watched a film or series that's based on a video game for a few of those reasons you listed, at least not that I can think of off hand. I know a few people that rave about The Last of Us, but I dunno. One of them is a Big Bang fan so I don't think I can trust their opinion on such things.

I quite like Fallout so I'll give it a go.
