My favorite teams
Worth every fucking penny though. I ate like a king there. The deserts there are also legit.
I had an Italian beef at a Portillo's out here in California. The place looks like Disneyland inside with all the neon signs and props... is every location like that?

Portilios..........hurl
Same thing with pizza. Have spent a lot of time in California when it comes to pizza, dogs and burgers it's not goodYou should see what other places try to pass off as a Chicago dog out here... an abomination. I would take Portillo's over that any day.

Burgers = tough to compare, so many great spots in many cities.
Hot Dogs = Chicago, no challengers
Pizza = tricky, really depends on style preference. Deep dish (I.e. Lasagna pie) clearly Chicago; thin crust plain cheese is NY; fancy pie with poached eggs or tasty pig parts or local produce is California.
......and don't get me started on Mexican, that deserves its own thread.
Spaghetti, Bread and Butter, Salad.
Same with meat gravysauce
Where you not paying attention to the great BearsBud gravy sauce debate?what's gravy sauce?

Basically it was over how people in the South might call gravy what we (in the more North states) call sauce. It escalated to everything being called gravysauceI looked into it and maybe even posted a question, but it was very confusing if i recall. Gravy is one thing and sauce is another.
