It was that "Real Italians" actually call pasta sauce "gravy" because it has beef in it. I was told by an Italian that he and other educated Italians call it Sauce, because only Italian Plebs call it gravy. Bearsbud got mad. PAGES AND PAGES happened.

Tried a new place in Palo Alto called Sushirrito. Pretty tasty, they use the maki/roll seaweed style as a shell for your burro. My Sushirrito contained yellowfin tuna, tamago, piquillo peppers, tobiko, lotus chips, cucumbers, avocado, green onion, sesame seeds, with Diablo Sauce on the side.

That Sushirrito sounds like a cool concept. There's a pretty famous food truck that serves those sushi burritos out here, but haven't been able to track it down yet.
I had lunch at a local Hawaiian joint. Had something called Mochiko chicken, and it came with rice and Mac salad.

We had a high school graduation party for my daughter yesterday. My brother-in-law is a professional chef and prepared the meal. Everything turned out great, but I ate waaaay too much.
Hors d'oeuvres:
Bruschetta
Stuffed mushrooms
25 lb. pig (my bro didn't cook this, we bought it from a restaurant):
Prime rib with mashed potatoes and carrots (this was devoured within minutes, it was maybe the best I've ever had).
He also made a watermelon arugula salad, a miso glazed chicken dish, and creme brulee for dessert.

Rents are clearly obscene in the Bay Area - e.g., a person earning $100,000 annually that is renting will likely have a roommate or live in a less-desirable town/area It's true that the wage-scale is also far higher here, but the current and recent generations that didn't buy into the local real estate market may not get that chance for a very long time, it ever.
