I could make a better prime rib, that one seems overcooked.

But I highly doubt I could cook a whole hog. In fact I know I couldn't.

Depends on how you like your meat. Prime Rib is cooked rare then brought to temp of the person. I like it the way he has it.

His is medium/medium-well. That's overcooked. I know some people like overcooked food (I do on a pizza with the cheese). But IMO it's wrong. Like I said, I can make a better prime rib. I have pics on it in the grill thread.

I think it was more medium than medium-well. I personally like my prime rib rare/medium rare, but the one he cooked was still outstanding regardless. I wanted seconds, but it was gone before I could ask for more.

Def. medium or less. It's a personal preference

Had In n Out for lunch yesterday since I was on the West Coast. The hype is real.

Portillo's >>>> In & Out.

Sorry, could not resist, I've had both numerous times, although I only have regular access to the latter while the former is a rare treat.

I think Portillo's is of a bit higher quality, yes. At the same time, whatever you have the least of always seems more appealing. In n Out is a treat for me lol

I like your style. I'm trying to make my diet 50% raw and uncooked every day per advice from the movie Food Matters.

ND is horrible.
Deglazed a pan used for ground sirloin with some cooking wine, EVOO and minced garlic and let that brown with some chopped scallions. Poured in some bean water (yes, this is a thing) and chipped turkey breast, and then the black beans themselves in. Lots of cumin, salt, ground black pepper, chili powder, onion/garlic salts later I had a lunch. Oh I added some taco shells which were left over bc I like crunchy carbs...

I wish I had had some diet sour cream left; it goes so perfectly with seasoned beans like that....that's my condiment of choice right now beyond sriracha.

Iunno bout that one....I do/did Vegas a lot, and burger/fries-wise they're very close imho. I seem to remember shakes being ridiculously affordable as well...at least back a few yrs ago.

Animal style FTMFW.

The greatest thing about In n Out is the price imo. You're getting a pretty high quality (for a fast food place) double burger for like $3 or something. To me, a standard double double animal style is at least as good as a Big Mac...probably better. That's what puts it on top for me.

Just my opinion, but a double double is about 100x better than a Big Mac.

Paleo Monday, Meh. Slow-cooked Thai chicken Basil. The Thai red chilies liven it up, but still it's boring as hell, and could use some brown rice.

Don't know why I keep at that nasty Paleo diet, guess I'm just another skinny guy with body dysmorphic disorder, **** it.
