^^Some of the few games the Bulls would probably lose or won't be in the game till the end(Heat) without Rose. Some of them.

Rose deserves this award again. The way he rises to the challenge & delivers time & time again is truly remarkable to watch. Lebron may have sensational numbers but has always lacked (and probably always will) the killer instinct. MVP's don't just put up fantastic numbers, they crush the heart of their opponents, and when the game is on the line, they WANT, no, DEMAND the ball to teach the opponent a lesson. This to me alone puts Rose above Lebron in the race, the same way it did last season. My vote, if I had one, goes to Rose.

Rose hasn't been more valuable in terms of winning games than LeBron James this season. He was last season but not so far through this season.

Love over Rose?Man I wouldn't have a problem if you had Bron first Durant second and DRose third.I wouldn't have a problem if you had Durant first Bron second and Rose third.I would respect your opinion because we all have one.

But Love over Rose?I mean Love deserves to be mentioned in the MVP race.He has a great season so far.Maybe he is the best overall player right now next to James. But DRose is the man.The MVP award has to do a lot with the leadership and the team record and how much the player helped for that.Stop underrating Rose please. You don't win something by doing this.

These 3 guys are the contenders this year for the trophy.Maybe Howard right now is 4th but far away from them.

Minnesota would be horrible if not for Love. That team is above .500 now because of his ability to hit clutch shots and DOMINATE the boards. If you were paying attention, you'd see that Love has easily won more games for MN this season than Rose has for CHI this season.

Pekovic wouldn't agree with that.

I am not saying that he is not worthy to be mentioned in the MVP race. But KD,Rose and Bron have separated themselves from the competition so far.

Pekovic is a mediocre starting C and Milicic is the guy behind him. That is not MN's strength. Look back and count how many games MN would've won had Love not played 1 game. They would be in the Wizards' category of awfulness or nearly that bad. If Rose had not played 1 game for the Bulls this season, they would still be well over .500.

I mean they started to win games when Peko jumped in the starting lineup.Rubio does a great season too.I really want this team to make the playoffs from the beginning. Its a fun to watch team.KLove is one of my favorite players too.But probably he is in the "should get an award but probably won't get one" category.

I am still going with Lebron...the guy guards Derrick Rose, Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol. Nobody else in the league can do that. People knock Skip Bayless, but seem to use his line of thinking...look at the last 2 minutes of a game. Doesn't work that way.

In the last 6 games the Bulls would be 2-4 without Rose. And they are 6-0

It is nothing to do with the last 2 minutes of the game. It's the performance and their contribution for the team record. And for the team record the performance of a player in the last minutes of close games when the W comes at this time yes its very important.

Oh, please. LeBron James cannot guard any of those players one-on-one (especially the bigs). He always has plenty of help of defense closing in the traps and shot-blockers, athleticism, and length all over the place. LeBron is far from the GOD of defense. Great defender but that isn't enough to put him over the top as the MVP.

People knock Skip Bayless, but seem to use his line of thinking...look at the last 2 minutes of a game. Doesn't work that way.

A large proportion of NBA games go down to the last two minutes. Miami has 3 great players and decent depth which is enough to win the vast majority of games without coming down to the wire and win them even without LeBron altogether. In those instances where their team needs a final shot to win, usually LeBron just doesn't get the job done.

Lebron should never win the MVP award as long as he stays in Miami because he has Wade and Bosh.

I won't go as far as to say he should never because of anything personal but if you mean that it hinders his chances of winning MVP because of all the help he has, I absolutely agree.
