Will the real Patrick Kane please stand up?

Pez isn't talking about his CAREER stats, more or less the last 20 games in which Kane has scored a point in only 9 of them.

Regardless, he's started to pick it up the last few games so hopefully he can keep the production going.

I know exactly what Pez was talking about. Once again Trev you are on CRACK and that's not who I was replying too. Get off the drugs.

I'm explaining the point of the thread which seems to be lost in the transition of drug talk and booze.

Also, oddly enough, there are no pictures of Kane being an alternate for either the London Knights, Team USA, or the Blackhawks.

Well you replied to me and I didn't need you to explain it. I fully understood where Pez went with the thread. I was replying to the person talking about what Kane is paid for. And I'm sure if you ask real nice Tony will find you a picture with Kane wearing the "A" if you desire one so much as he's DEFINITELY worn it in the past when someone was out for injury.

Money wise, over his career yes I will agree he's earned it.

Didn't he wear it against Detroit once?

I'd like that. Only one condition...he must wear the "A"...and change his last name to sshole.

When, not if, when he graduates to the "C", he'll be known as Kyle Unt.

I need to get more sleep.

Eddie O pointed out another Kane gaffe last night. While he didn't use Millbury's term of 'lollygagging it' he did say Kane was strolling around center ice giving Nashville a 5-on-3 when they were already on the powerplay. It was a quick moment but you could tell Eddie thought Kane was not coming back to help his team in the defensive zone.

Yep. It was at the end of the game when the Hawks were trying to tie it up. Kane was hoping for an errant puck or a breakaway pass that could give the Blackhawks a scoring chance.

You know, kind of like the game against Nashville the SC year, when, oh I don't know, Kane lollygagged his way to the tying goal?

You've got nothing, Poundcake.

What happened in game 5 against Nashville was nothing short of amazing. Last evening was routine-- and Nashville isn't going to make the same mistake twice. I've seen many players play back on an empty net to try to get a cherry-pick situation. It's not that uncommon. Just because it was 88 that was back on the play didn't mean that he didn't want to backcheck in that scenario. Nashville controlled the puck quite well on the PP last evening, their defense was even better.

Teams will take advantage when 19 and 10 are on the mend. Those are two key teammates, and the Blackhawks are asking some young players to really step it up. Shaw was close to tying it last night, and he couldn't bury the pass from Kane. I'm sure some one can spin this in saying Kane should have threaded an easier pass to handle-- or Shaw is still green. Fact is the puck didn't go in.

Try again, Pounder.
