England France is ideal, but I don't trust France. I think Belgium takes it. Also, I think England's luck finally runs out this time. So I predict Belgium Croatia final....but as a Frenchie, I want France-England.

England have been fortunate in landing on that side of a lopsided bracket, but you can only beat who you play and they've played well. I think they're better than Croatia, who I think have regressed a bit since the group stage. I also hope it's France vs England but I also think it will be. Think France just has a bit too much going forward for Belgium. They're prolific in the last third.

If any team has been lucky, it's Belgium. They had that ridiculous goal where the ball popped into the air 50 feet and feel perfectly to get back in the Japan game. Then Brazil has chance after chance in the 2nd half and can only find the net one time. France looks like the better team but soccer is fickle and anything can happen.

Belgium looked much better last game imo. Defense was very good against Brazil, and they played well in the 2nd half against Japan. I give them a very good shot of winning this whole thing.

I trust Belgium's counter attack. It's deadly. Also, France has really only shown up this world cup when they were down against Argentina. France has a very talented squad but they have not played to their potential.

Well, it's France (#calledit) against England or Croatia. France will be favorited either way.

Well hopefully Belgium takes it on Saturday.

Great game, despite the outcome I did not want.

Glad to be wrong. I will take it anyday. Also, I hope Mbappe doesn't turn into a Neymar diva. Talented kid but he shows too much "extra Neymar" in him

I go to Paris and a year later France advances to the WC final.

Hmm not sure the D was all that good as opposed to extremely lucky to not have let in like 3-4 goals. Brazil wasted a ton of chances early in the first half and late in the 2nd half. Not to mention the missed penalty on Kompany against Jesus.

Moot point I guess as their luck ran out against France. One of the things that makes soccer so interesting is how fickle a game it is. The margins are razor thin and one bad bounce here or there can doom a team.

Not just the bounces, but the kicks. I have always felt that the players should be top level kickers and you see them miss all the time. I am not saying I would do better, just perhaps expect better from the best in the world.

You don't understand how difficult it is to control a ball at that speed with that little time.

So the United States can't even qualify, yet a country smaller in size and population than Indiana not only qualifies, but advances to the title game. Damn we suck.

England started well. I don't know what happened in that second half. England did miss plenty of good opportunities..especially the one that Kane had with the keeper one on one

Croatia adjusted, England didn't. England ran out of gas & the coach failed to make timely substitutions.
