I just wanted that breed of dog. I really wanted a Rottweiler but my homeowners insurance would have increased. It was just funny watching him back peddle from the gopher. O'h and the wife giving me shit about the money i spent on him ... I wouldnt trade that dog for the world though

So why tell the insurance company that you got a rottweiller?

I know you're not a nice person but didn't think you were stupid. Looks like you are. Carry on.

Boerboel are great dogs. I would guess the gopher thing was an aberration, those dogs are bred to protect home and family. Maybe the gopher was too small, like an elephant being afraid of a mouse.

Too long don't want to watch poor quality video Mythbuster spoiler.

My dog is terrified of bikes, scooters, roller skates, basically anything that has a wheel minus a car. Also plastic sacks that blow in the wind. He has saved me atleast 12 times from a plastic sack and he only cost $300

Our 40# pooch goes berserk when she sees a deer or coyote. But one time she found a toad at night. We had some laughs watching her paw at it and then jump back. Then she just stared at it until in moved and the jumped away. Went on for about 5 minutes. It was funny after several beers.

LimpDick Lou changed his avatar to a snowy road...either you are trying to disguise your alt or you haven't checked your PM for the update.

Also my 25 lb beagle who has a kill count of 24 has never needed to be muzzled or drugged at the vet for a routine checkup...but then again I have at least given him some training and he is somewhat balanced mentally.

So Fatman Lou....when your pooch kicks the bucket, I would suggest going to your local shelter and picking out a beagle for your home. They are great with kids, amazing hunters, excellent at warning the family of incoming threats or bears, have a habit of being well behaved at the vet, are instinctively great at making sure a couch does not move, and bonus feature they are good looking dogs.

Do you have any recommendations on dogs that are rabidly anti-social and may attack anyone including me as the owner?

Really, any dog as long as you refuse to train it and actually encourage that behavior because you think it's cool.

Ok but what if I get a dog that just isn't an asshole.... like naturally it is nice and friendly to people.

I mean I can't have a fucking dog who doesn't try to murder people who come near my home.

Like what if my dog naturally just behaved at the vet.

You are setting me up for a possible major failure.

Actually I think I stand corrected. Get a $50 beagle and I think you'd have to abuse him to turn him into a Rango. Really makes you wonder why you'd be proud of having a dog that behaves like an abused/neglected animal...
