John Scott isn't going to the Bruins with Chara/Lucic already on the team... not a chance.

I think he meant xtras here. Not xtras in the trade. Who in the right mind would trade for Scott? Especially a winning team?

Johnson sucks. He isn't 3rd line center material anyways. He is barley 4th line material. Still not sure why Bowman grabbed him other than PK abilities which isn't mind blowing either. Get him off the IR send him down and grab Stuart Sounds like a no brainer to me if this is enough and if this can be done. We need that physicality on the blueline seeing hammer forgot how to hit since nearly killing Roy at the start of the season. Stuart also brings a Sopelesque PK ability. Good vet blueliner who will get dirty and take some for the team.

Can't believe anyone is concerned about Johnson being in the lineup. Really? He brings nothing but a cheap cap hit.

I also don't think anything should be done with Sharp right now. The top line looks and feels right at last with him being played on the Wing. Bolland is right at 2nd line center (should have been there from day one). As for the 3rd line center? Well the Hawks fucked themselves there didn't they? Not sure how they solve that but I would rather have Kopecky than Johnson on it to be brutally honest.

What the **** do I know though. I do know Johnson sucks though.

And whats worse...only 3 bonafide centers (with others that can do it if necessary) or only 1 defenceman willing to hit (Seabrook)? Because Keith, Campbell, Hjarllmarsson and Leddy might as well carry purses with them.

As Coach Murray Chadwick would say about this Dgroup - "You guys could skate around with a carton of eggs and not break one!"

Stuarts had 103 hits last year in 56gms (1.83avg) and 56 hits in 31gms (1.80avg)

I thought hits wasn't the problem, I mean it was actually you that pointed out we have more than last year?

One team does not make him valuable. Sorry.

I like what I've seen from him in his limited time TCD. I'm holding out the Canuck bias.

Either way I'd keep him and waive someone else. And I most definitely agree on the lack of Physcal presence on the D side PMX.

As a forward group and a team. Yes. But I also have pointed out that Seabrook has more hits than all the other Dmen combined. Hjarlmarsson has hit less - I thought he'd be more physical since he doesnt score worth a piss. Stuart can kill penalties as well.

Islanders as well.... see his value just doubled!

.... and that folks is why 65% of stats are skewed to make a case.

What exactly have you seen? Especially in limited time he's shown nothing. THere was a reason why no one wanted him in the off season.

I think his effort has been out there in the games he's been iced. I also think the reason no one signed him was due to his ability to get injured. He missed most of last year with a broken foot didn't he?

Like I said all in all I don't really give a shit, but I'd keep him long before boynton and or Scott.

Effort? If effort ruled then Scott would be getting more minutes, and Skille would still be here. Everyone gives effort, but he hasn't done anything to back it up. Not even taken penalties, he's been a non-factor every time on the ice. And no one signed him due to injury.... gee I wonder what that's like... oh wait he got injured. The dude has played about 83 minutes total all year... We should be talking about nothing other than showing him the door. And I say this as having been excited to get some center depth when they signed him.
