Crosby walks way too many guys. I really love Smyly's control. I think that's something that we need more than power arms. We have plenty of power arms in the system.

How far away from MLB ready is Turner I would guess AAA this year and a September call up?? Or am I off on my assessment I dont know much about hi. What kind of stuff does he have?

they refused to trade Castellanos for Gio no way they give him up for a lesser guy which IMO Garza is. Wonder how much competition there is I could see the Tigers balking if there isnt another team interested.(obviously then we just wait till the deadline)

no worries. I figured it was moved somewhere after I spent a few minutes wondering if I actually hit the "submit" button.

I didn't realize there was a "Rumors" sub-forum.

There's one in the Sox forum too but they don't like it that much :lol:

I guess we get slightly more traffic so this was done for organizational purposes.

Whenever I hear "There's nothing going on" in regards to sports rumors, I know there is something going on.

Translation: We aren't looking to get rid of him just for the heck of it. "Shopping" is something they did with Big Z and more than likely are doing with Sori...Garza they are getting a market for and listening to offers. There's a big difference IMO between "shopping a guy"(ie actively trying to get rid of him) and feeling out the trade market in general to see what is out there.

As long as Garza and his reps have been in the loop the entire time that's all that matters.

It's gonna suck when Garza blows out his shoulder in mid-May and is done for the season :(
