i worry about demp and konerko going on their off day to one of the local ice arenas and playing rat hockey. those 2 are obessesed with hockey.
I am trying to understand how pushing up the start is going to be a sign of him being traded. It would seem like pushing the start back would say something is imminent.
Oh, that was a non sequitur. The reason for shifting the start is to keep Demp on a five-day schedule and has nothing to do with an impending trade. Unless you mean the way he wrote the article.

What are the Cubs looking for in the dempster deal? A rizzo type good looking prospect? Or a mid level prospect with a high ceiling?

I'm almost certain that whatever prospect you get back for Dempster won't be much better than Blake DeWitt. That's basically what the Cubs got in return for Ted Lilly. Dempster's age and salary are major obstacles in securing an impact prospect.
If the return was Blake DeWitt type prospect, wouldn't the Cubs be better off rolling the dice on a qualifying offer at the end of the year?
