At what point does Rose overtake Pippen?

Is D-Rose the #2 player in the Chicago Bulls Franchise?

The other 1992 Dream Team players essentially just said about Pip what Daly said. Does that mean they think Pippen is "greater than" them? I doubt that.

Pippen was the only one who could guard literally any of the international players that they played. That doesn't mean he was the best player on the team.

I would still put Pippen #2. It will be awhile until Rose gets that #2 best Bull but he has the future to be that and I think a lot of us will agree with that. But you can't ignore what Scottie Pippen has done for us and already put Rose ahead of him in just his third season and one MVP award. Scottie Pippen is one of the top 50 players ever. Rose has the potential to be one of the greats,I won't say he's already one of them. Is he a great player? Most definitely and will be one of the top 5 players in the league right now playing for a very long time. I can say that Rose has improved greatly and we should be very,very happy we have a player like him. The future is bright for Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls!!!

The thing this blowhard bully doesn't understand is that while I have his stupid ass on ignore, people quote his "I know more than you" posts and I see Those, so I respond.

Also SP94, don't mind him, he's a 5 year old. If someone disagrees with him, that's what he resorts to, name calling and the like. He's just a bully with no friends and thinks he knows everything.

Pay him no mind.

Actually rami, I think what daly was saying was that pippen was the most important player. Certainly better than kendall gill.

He was definitely important in regard to him being the only guy who could defend all positions and being the best perimeter defender. But Pippen actually wasn't light years ahead of Kendall Gill on defense. Offensively, obviously tons better than Gill. The only reason I brought up Gill's name is that he would have also been a guy who would have consistently gotten the Bulls far into the playoffs each season. The 1991 Pistons and Lakers probably lose to the Jordan-Grant-Gill Bulls. The 1996 and 1997 Jordan-Rodman-Kukoc-Gill Bulls probably beat the Sonics. That was all I said. Nobody was as good of a fit for that team as Scottie was. But Jordan was the real reason those championships were possible.

You say Pippen was overrated yet Reggie Miller was that influential to you?

Reggie Miller was FAR more overrated than Pippen was. Reggie was a one-dimensional shooter.

Regardless Reggie did as much by himself as Pippen ever did and Reggie isn't even good enough to make the hall of fame.

Pippen just wasn't that good. Without Jordan I don't think he is anything but a good player. Certainly not a HoF or top 50 all time player.
