I kind of hope they bring on Panthers OC Thomas brown in some capacity. I believe he was with Waldron in LA as an rb coach. Bring him in as rb coach and Olson or someone with experience as qb coach as well.
they do need to fill out most of the OC staff...

A few thoughts:
1. I absolutely don't think this tips Poles' hand. In fact, I'm guessing part of Waldron's appeal is that he came in with a plan for Fields or any of the rookie QBs that they might draft.
2. Whichever QB they go with, I hope the brain trust realizes that you do not need a lot of cooks in the kitchen.
I don't know, I think most of the league expects him to draft Williams. It would be absolutely unprecedented to pass on the #1 two years in a row. What he does with fields is anyone's guess, but he doesn't necessarily have to unload him. But I don't think there's any way the bears pass on Williams unless they get a Herschel Walker type haul.

To fill out the staff with other candidates that were interviewed might take a while as I’m sure they want to try to get one of the many open OC jobs first. Unless of course they aren’t pulling interest but I’d find that to be surprising.

Maybe Waldron likes Jayden Daniels?

Geno regressed this year. I highly doubt he was hired because of Geno Smith in a vacuum. The ability to adapt and get the most out of a flawed player I think was definitely a huge positive in his corner though. Poles and Flus even said this in their press conference, they want someone who will coach to the players strengths.

Supposedly the guy that revitalized geno Smith is the oc in Tampa that just revitalized baker Mayfield. He was the Seattle qb coach last year. Supposedly why geno regressed this season

Wait and see mode is fine, but there wasn't many better options.
Yeah i'd like to hear from the people that don't like this hire what other option was better and didn't have any question marks!?

I think it’s likely but why? Is he really that good of a coach? He has experience that is for sure.
He has a pretty good resume' with multiple QB's at different stops who put up good numbers with him as their QB's coach or working with them with title/job he had with that offense.

For once we agree. The Bears are doing this intentionally. They are keeping what is happening with the #1 pick a complete mystery so far, and are playing this whole thing incredibly smart.
Holy **** Shaggy! Get the mystery mobile and let's solve the case!

They are literally playing it how any team would play it
Poles could literally come out at the Waldron presser and say "Shane will be tasked witho resurrecting Justin Fields career" and the #1 pick will be worth no less.
It's value comes from competition for the pick and CW perceived value, not some mythical compensation that can convince Poles to stick with the 22nd rated passer from last season and trade the pick.

Looking on Twitter, Seahawks fans saying the same thing. Said there was a massive difference in the offense with and without Canales. Also seeing he abandons the run and his scheme is questionable based on the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent and his halftime adjustments are non-existant. They're fans, take it for what it's worth.
