My favorite teams
Not before he came to Chicago. So has Getsy.

But then again....A few thoughts:
1. I absolutely don't think this tips Poles' hand. In fact, I'm guessing part of Waldron's appeal is that he came in with a plan for Fields or any of the rookie QBs that they might draft.
2. Whichever QB they go with, I hope the brain trust realizes that you do not need a lot of cooks in the kitchen.
And the only two options are love completely like a CSSer loves pizza and porn or hate with an unending rage like a CSSer hates nuanceSir this is CCS, you must have your final opinion the moment after the hire and are not allowed to be patient.
Fun fact. Fields also works with QB collective for training, he was their cover athlete at one point.
Think he’ll give the Pats tips on coaching Williams?Seattle fans seem ecstatic he's no longer their OC. Their offense wasn't really any better than the Bears offense this year despite having a better quarterback and more weapons at receiver. I hope we aren't being out of town stupid here, but this is exactly the type of hire you get when you aren't selecting an OC to be your head coach. Most of the good ones are interviewing for head coaching jobs.
At the very least, he's an experienced playcaller who oversaw the development of Geno Smith—so not a guy who gets hired for working with a HOF talent (Getsy).
Look forward to seeing what he can do with Caleb Williams.

But he has it now, and we would call anyone that hired him a bunch of morons. All I'm saying is that experience doesn't equal competency. Not before he came to Chicago.
Considering he's a 33 year old QB who hasn't played at those levels for two consecutive years I'd say that was just fine.It was a little more than "slight." His TD percentage dropped by 1.2% while his INT% stayed almost identical. Completion percentage went from 70% to 65%. Rating dropped from 101 to 92. Considering the skill players around him, those are pretty solid drops.
I wanted them to hire Ben Johnson as Head Coach. Once they decided to keep Flus, all my hope for this team went out the window.Considering he's a 33 year old QB who hasn't played at those levels for two consecutive years I'd say that was just fine.
Who did you want them to hire?
I don't know about Johnson, but hope absolutely.I wanted them to hire Ben Johnson as Head Coach. Once they decided to keep Flus, all my hope for this team went out the window.
Only if you count the Bears...He was never an OC with a pro teamSo has Getsy.
Oof
Can I just add, and maybe this is a unpopular take but:
4. This offense looks nothing like an offense that comes from the McVay tree which was one of the major points in favor of hiring Waldron.
Too many passes behind the line of scrimmage. These seem to be low percentage success rates.
Siri, what does “petty” mean?I guess you missed the fun with him from last night. I doubt he woke up this morning and thought I'm going to have a cordial discussion with Daniel.
He was my first choice, but I also would've been fine with Vrabel, Slowik, Harbaugh, Belichick, etc. Pretty much any of the rock star candidates out there this season that I've never seen before.I don't know about Johnson, but hope absolutely.
Last night I was sick as a dog so your usual idiocy where you make obvious statements as if you're dropping knowledge on the rest of us was far more annoying than usual. And you never answered my question who you want the Bears to get at QB to own the NFC.I guess you missed the fun with him from last night. I doubt he woke up this morning and thought I'm going to have a cordial discussion with Daniel.
