Gordon is still a better wing scorer than McGrady...and what is this "meh" stuff? I never hear Americans say "meh"....Gordon can't handle the ball, but he can shoot very well and its his dumb ass fault for putting himself in a position where this is even an argument...Nobody says the 2009 version of Gordon is inferior to McGrady...nobody.

i can die happy.

J.R. would be great I think so many Bulls fans would be amazed on how well he'd do for us this season.

Stuckey is the best player on the team. McGrady is not in the top 5. Which is what makes your argument so wrong. McGrady hasn't complained about his role because they told him at the beginning of the year that he was too sucky to get a lot of playing time....before he signed. McGrady doesn't have quicker reactions because he physically cannot react as he used to. He is Penny Hardaway at the same age pretty much. He has a year or two left in the league and then its over most likely. McGrady taking higher percentage shots doesn't make him a better player than Smith, if that is the case...Kurt Thomas trumps both of them...

Anyway Fredette is NOT a shooting guard, he plays point guard. I just didn't understand why you would bring him up in an argument about the position after saying Curry is a liability because of size, defense etc. when Fredette is about the same size. Made no sense.

There is no better transaction than Curry among those available. Mayo is about the same size and has similar skills, I take it you don't want him either? Jackson? Old, takes those shots you despise from JR Smith a lot. So who else? I like Mayo personally, as long as Brewer is here. I just think you are off on your assessments. You can't look at statsheets and boxscores and pass that off as 5-star analysis.

I highlighted a couple of things that I strongly disagree with. I was a huge BG critic when he was with the Bulls and was praying they let him walk in free agency after that Boston series.

And okay, I would highly consider that Gibson-for-Curry trade. I admit it.

I am notorious for my indifference to Ben Gordon. I found him highly expendable and still think that people show how basketball Special person they were when he left. I have argued that Lamar Odom is a better player than him, Kevin Martin, Peja in his prime, Monta Ellis on one leg...and people argued with me up and down. Of course, most of them are pretty damn silent now. But I cannot bring myself to say that McGrady now could do what Gordon could do in 2009...NOT EVEN CLOSE...McGrady couldn't score 40+ on that Celtics team. He can barely score 15 on the Raptors. So while I have no problem with Gordon leaving town, especially for the money he is making...you can't tell me sober that you would rather have McGrady than Gordon...I just can't believe anyone would say that.

That said, I would take JR over both of them...

I'd rather have McGrady for 850k than Ben Gordon for 10.8 million.

We better get a J.R. deal done....I don't think Nuggets would be asking for that much.

You don't know the Nuggets, they over-value their players to an insane degree.

If you sit around using Simpsons-created interjections, you are the one needing fresh air my friend...I don't have many friends using "meh" in a conversation. But thanks for the info anyway...

You'd be surprised how many new words have entered the lexicon of the English language the past few decades. And how many of them come from pop culture references.

Signing him for the minimum would not have been a bad idea now that we have a guy like Keith Bogans in our starting lineup.

First, McGrady doesn't really do what you need done at the shooting guard position. Namely, he is not a standstill shooter and he is not very good defensively.

Since you are going to do the Tracy McGrady version of the "Shawon-o-meter" it will be great if you point out his failures too.

Went though this with a Ben Gordon fan on Bullspodcasters. His headline was "Ben Gordon is really, really good..." and he would follow what Gordon did night after night...until Gordon started to suck. Then you didn't hear from him anymore.

I agree, I am the guy who watches sitcoms on dvd years after they come out and don't watch much of this stuff anymore. I am an old 35.

I just feel as though inserting Brewer into the starting lineup and having McGrady run the 2nd unit would have definitely helped the Bulls.
