Truth: lebron is the most physically gifted the NBA has ever seen outside of Wilt $ Jordan.

Truth: lebron is lazy and hasn't adding anything to his game in about 9 years (counting high school)

Truth: lebron relies too heavily on being the best athlete and not necessarily the best player.

Truth: lebron has very limited actual basketball skills. How anyone can deny this is beyond me.

Truth: once his physical skills wear out, he won't have anything to rely on.

Truth: people treat him like he's won 5 titles already and it's only a formality that he will win more.

I don't, I thought I posted a whole assload of reality in my post. Since I'm not drinking the lbj kool-aid. I can say it.

Truth once again.

It seems that you don't interpret sarcasm very well?

There is no sarcasm...this is a case of people who attacked me for what I considered truth, giving a proverbial standing ovation for a list of inaccuracies passed off as truths. And you called it an excellent post with so much truth...sarcasm my ass.

That was a figure of speech when I called those opinions truth. Try to claim the same thing if you'd like but it's pretty obvious to me that when someone has an opinion that you don't agree with, you take it a little bit too much to heart (i.e. all of the "stupid" and "dumbass" fingerpointing). But nice job, you caught me.

"I don't believe you, you need more people...." JayZ...

I don't mind having a spirited debate. I never called you stupid or a dumbass...a said that about your statements and your thoughts as I read them.

As for you saying your complimenting that inaccurate post as truth (a word YOU introduced into the conversation) being an act of sarcasm...that dog won't hunt bruh...lol.

But you now understand my point...his post, as off as it is...can stir debate. He believes it to be fact...he is waaaaaaaaaaay off, but that is his belief. I find nothing wrong with the concept, his actual thoughts? Totally different....

Seems we are going to need to agree to disagree. No point having another drawn out debate... Besides, you already know that I believe LeBron James is the best current player in the NBA despite what I and some others see as his faults.

Disagree all you want, you don't have to agree with me.

lebron is not as great as he seems. He's like the girl with the biggest tits in the room. She's got nothing going on upstairs, but my god, look at those tits!

when I see lebron play, I see a guy who is more physically dominant than everyone else, but has an average b-ballIQ. SUre he can do a lot of things on the court, but really it's him being the best athlete, and not really the best basketball player. It's like he's and athlete that chose basketball, and not a ball player that happens to be a great athlete.

I wouldn't label kobe as an athlete per se, but he's an excellent basketball player. Jordan on the other hand was a great basketball player and a great athlete.

How is a guy 6' 9" 270 and not have a great post game? Mark Jackson has a better post game than lebron. lebron can put up numbers, but he doesn't know how to win, and that's what separates him from the elites in my opinion.

I have a hard time believing you watched the NBA for 30 years and wouldn't label Kobe an athlete. Kobe is one of the great athletes in NBA history. Lebron having a post game or not having a post game has nothing to do with your careless statements saying he is not skilled. There are centers with no post game...Lebron is a point forward...a post game is not necessary for what he does. Yet he is the best player in the league. I don't know who you think the "elites" are in today's game. But if you don't believe Lebron is one of the elite basketball players and American athletes...now and in history...you are very disillusioned...

I meant elites of all time. In today's game the talent overall is down. It's a very top heavy league. I would say Kobe is a skilled basketball player moreso than he is an athlete.

And I have watched the NBA since 85, Jordan's rookie year. Basketball in general since 84 with Team USA in the LA Olympics.

lebron is very good at what he does, but he is a lot of hype and no substance.

If you want to drink his kool-aid, by all means do so. But I reserve judgment until he actually does something, other than choke in big games and lose in the playoffs, year after year.

I don't think Lebron winning would prove anything to you because you don't seem to know what you are watching...

Then you tell me oh wise one of great opinion, what are you seeing that I'm not.

What I see is a guy who could be one of the greatest ever, not living up to his hype, other than stat padding and being handed MVP's, what has he done?

I heard the same garbage talk about Shaq...before he would win anything...I heard the same garbage talk about Jordan before he won anything.

Lebron earned the MVPs he got the same way you believe Rose has earned this one...if you think the league would be "handing" Rose the MVP over other candidates like Howard or Dirk...then at least you will be consistent...but I doubt you feel that way.

lebron was handed the league before he even signed a contract, or do you think all the hype he had coming out of high school was legit?

Wait, I know you do.

Rose earned it if he gets it.

lebron's were basically by default, like Deion Sanders' DPOY's he got, Barry Bonds MVP's. No one else stood out, so give it to lebron.

The two years Lebron won the MVP he had better years than Rose, and was/is a better player...nobody with sense would contest that argument.

Actually, that is the case THIS year...nobody stands out. Rose statistically isn't having what is considered an MVP season. Lebron's stats are better, so are Howard's....across the board.

Houf, if you think that LeBron James is as dedicated to his craft as a guy like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant... then I am going to need to question what you are watching.

That's what I'm saying. I don't see how he doesn't see that. It's not hard to miss.

Rose has that relentless drive to be better, just like Kobe and Jordan. lebron cruises. Granted his good is better than a lot of players' good. But like I said in an earlier post. Hard work beats talent when talent refuses to work hard.
