I was going to tell you I heard the other day that it is good to eat lots of fruits and vegetables in this weather cause they help to keep you hydrated and that you can even use watermelon for sunburn. And what is better in this weather than biting into some cold juicy honeydew.

I see lightning to the northwest. I sure hope it doesn't skip north of here. Probably won't be here before I leave work though.

I don't think it rained. We just had lightning and a little thunder and now that is gone. We need some rain. All the grass is starting to get brown patches.

According to weather radar, rain is only a few miles to the west.

I'm not so sure, it is probably evaporating before it makes it to the ground.

Looks like DeKalb got a storm and it's 10-15° cooler.

OK, here's the breeze just now. Ah, so nice. Hopefully there will be some rain soon.

I'm gonna get a few throws in.

It's about 10° cooler than yesterday though.

Thought I had to work tomorrow but yesterday heard it got cancelled.

Holy shit! It is below 80°!!

It got really windy but storms seemed to break up and skip north again.

I'm planning on hitting a new course tomorrow (today) if not stormy but I don't really give a shit. If it storms and keeps it cool I am all for it.

We got a litle rain in the night, but today will be hot and muggy again. Big storms all went north of us.

Not much progress on my dyeing project. I have emailed my friend that does CAD/CAM work to ask for his expertise in drawing and such. I have no talents or skills in graphic design. I think he can help me out with high resolution images (to make for smooth edges). I am also waiting on contact info of a guy that may be able to do the software and cutting work after I have drawings in correct format.

Hoping for info soon. Getting tired of too hot to throw and not enough info to dye.

Fucking rain all skipped by here again.

So pissed off. Last three fucking weekends I have spent in heat (where phone works) waiting for call that never comes. When I finally get call from friend I think I am going to give him the ride he suppossdly needs then punch that motherfucker right in the face. Really fucking tired of wasting my little time off (not to mentiom VERY valued time in cool basement) trying to help friend that never calls.

Can't go downstairs to cool off, can't go to golf course for fun.

Waiting on "friend". I wanna punch myself in the face I am so pissed.

I finally got some sleep too. Cooler this morning. Last night I had the air on, fan on, cold rag on the back of my neck, ice pack on my back and was drinking ice water and I was still in misery. We finally got a good rain today, but nothing like up by Chicago.
