Stroman is slated back on the 16. He is doing stability conditioning after his cortisone to his hip
Smyly would be blind faith giving him another start. Alonso ripped his ass *2. But the real problem was feeding that monster with runners.
I've said Kilin should start in his spot for a while now.

Frustrating.
Tying run on third and lead run on second with less than two out and we get Christopher Morel who is the last guy you want to see in that situation. Predictably he strikes out.
The guy who swings at everything like Javy Baez watches a third strike when all we needed was contact.
And the second last guy you want to see up in a critical situation, Ian Happ, strikes out to end the game.

Cubs suck again. Why was Morel leading off? I mean, nice HR but it's just like Schwarber leading off as a slugger... it doesn't work.

I'd rather they had let Madrigal hit than sacrifice to bring up Morel in a situation where we can't have a strikeout

I doubt we'll be seeing Morel leading off anytime soon....not sure why Madrigal was not even in the lineup. Everytime I see the GGlover in the lineup, I cringe. Happ has looked beat for awhile now...he needs a break.

They need to cut Wisdom. Every time he graces the line up it chokes chickens.
Morel should be hitting 6-8 always.
Horner should lead off vs lefties. Ross should stick with the game plan.
Suzuki is making it easy or difficult depending how you look at it. So the work he put in is translating.
Jed should remove useless toys so Ross won't play with them.

LH just add Mad at 3B and shift Candinaro over to 1B and Bellinger to CF.
Simple solution and keeps the regulars on normal playing time.
Happ should get a few days off and IMO just put Morel in LF and DH him for a few days
