Don't be jelly and mad, bro. It's making you look the fool.

A sauna suit? Hopefully the day comes when you learn you have to let go of your obsession with food if you want to stop being obese. You can't eat so much so often and expect to lose such a significant amount of weight.

Yeah, I looked into the keto thing and ultimately dismissed it because I like to eat pasta, beans, bread, milk, etc. I'm not into limiting carbs, it's why I never got into the Atkins either. If it works for you, that's all fine and good, but I know I couldn't do it. Mostly, I eat a lot of eggs, avocado, chicken, and moderately fish. I don't drink pop, mostly water, milk, and juice. I've been working more fruits and veggies back into my diet, and I usually do a couple fruit smoothies a week as meal replacements. Don't really do lettuce either. I replace lettuce with either spinach or kale.

This thread actually motivated me somewhat to get back into my workout regimen and paying attention to what I'm eating. I've dropped only about ten lbs, but my gut has shrunk while I see muscle coming back to my body. I feel a thousand times better and the aches and pains that were plaguing me seem to be a thing of the past. I'm gonna try to switch up and do the P90x3 this week. It's not as intense as the original, but it's only a half hour so I can fit it in before work everyday and it's still intense enough.

Spartan, I keep reading stuff about coconut oil and all these people are saying they love it cause it's simple and tastes great. So many people saying it tastes great. Is there another type of coconut oil or are they insane? This shit tastes horrendous. And its oily as all hell.

If it tastes so bad, why are you wasting calories eating it??? Try something else, like macadamia nut oil.

Yeah, actually suppose to keep carbs below 20g. That's the hardest part to get used to. You can easily exceed that with 1 beverage or even 1 sandwich alone. A lot of people use stevia to sweeten up a drink or smoothie and lettuce wraps for sandwiches.

Yep, artificial sweeteners make Keto diets much easier. But then after like the 3rd day, your body stops craving carbs as much.

It does not taste good but nobody takes it for the taste. As an MCT oil It acts differently than others and people take it for a lot of reasons but I find it hard to believe any take it for the taste.

After being put under scrutiny for years, the coconut emerged as a superfood and the MCT oil in it is a big reason why. It reduces hunger and suppresses the appetite when taking while also providing a fat burning boost. Also has benefits relating to health as its fatty acids have been shown to kill harmful bacteria, viruses and fungi. Also shown to increase the good HDL cholesterol.

Keto peeps mainly use it to lessen hunger and increase energy. Most importantly they use it cause the fat burning boost it provides hits the area everybody wants to hit, the stomach.

That’s cute, you thought stevia was an artificial sweetener. Getting like Aussie, just sounding off without a clue. Stevia is a natural sweetener that comes from the leaf of the Stevia rebaudiana plant species.

Well if I mix it with something it tastes fine. I'm just shocked people enjoy eating it.

Stevia is NOT a natural sweetener, and something like sucralose is also derived from sugar. But I’ll revise to sugar substitute. I personally have gone into ketosis using sugar substitutes, but not Stevia in particular.

Ok, now something that comes from nature is not natural. LMAO

Stevia is natural. Comes from a plant in nature. Been used for ages in other countries. This is not an artificial sweetener created in the lab.

You don’t want to buy it in your average supermarket though cause brand names mix it with shit like dextrose and other artificial crap to make it taste better. You’d look for the liquid stevia leaf extract by itself. Many people don’t like it though cause it’s kind of bitter. The stevia leaf extract w/vanilla is the more popular one.

It depends on your definition of natural really. Even the stevia extract is extracted using solvents like ethanol, likely in a lab. It's not done on your mother's stove top. But calling stevia as unnatural as aspartame is fudging. Of course, there are many who believe everything in the world is natural, even so-called synthetics.

Still had from leaf of plant unlike other artificial sweeteners. Really never seen anybody call it artificial. It’s known as an alternative and there is a difference. I would easily choose it over artificial sweeteners but, tbh, haven’t tried it cause I’ve been a bit iffy on it.

I found it was possible to retrain your taste to not require things to be so sweet. I still use regular sugar, honey, or maple syrup when I need to sweeten, but that is rare, and done sparingly. I'm just not a supplement guy, or "replacement" guy when it comes to diet.

Big honey fan myself but it doesn’t fit in with the whole ketosis thing. Maybe a tbsp here and there sparingly. Trying to do as you say and get to that point where I’ll get use to doing without and not miss it.

Honey is still sugar. Lots of empty carbs. I think if one is worried about sugar and empty carbs, that retraining your taste is the better route. I laugh at people who feel superior because they use something called" Sugar in the Raw" instead of refined sugar. Both are just empty carbs, and the raw sugar has the molasses put "back into" it. It is also refined, but the re-adding of the molasses adds a minuscule amount of iron, calcium, and potassium.

If you point that out though, the response is,"Yeah, but it tastes better."

Love coconut. Not many people seem to. I've cooked a little with coconut oil, I can't recall it having any discernable taste. I tend to use peanut oil because of the cost.

Good night.

sweet dreamz spar 'sweetpea' ty .. mm cant wait to see some pics to back that system of YOURS spar 'buttercup' tan. 'starvation' IF by the 'starvin' spartan.. has a ring to it doughz

im glad you really eat 4 times a day, instead of the 2 you was gavel pounding about n shittn on peeps who eat more......... but u is grazing like a cow yoself..

and surely ur system aint no warrior IF... spartan starvation IF aint real IF neway. you is actually more on a LONG 16 hour time restricted cal restriction.. dat system be is works too.. they similar but not.. but i know u know these things..

n stop with the caffeine if u is about the IF life.. caffeine breaks duh fast on a molecular level... dem green teas fer 16 hours a day be make u be fooling yoself thinking you IF'ing or on time restriction.. mang you aint fasting until u sleep fer 8.. go water 100% during non feed time.. if ur gonna preach IF.. at least do real IF firss.. so in reality your time restriction diet is more juss like a pure cal restriction diet.. but on duh extreme.... starvation.. dat works too

so my 5-7 meals was generally consumed in 10 hours.. but 12 a lot of duh days... so in reality i was closer to dat 16/8 more days than you was/is on your tea heavy 8/16
