They are keeping with their philosophy from last year. Look for Pitcher and Catcher to play heavy for the next 9 rounds.

Not happy. Gray was my pick with Appel off the board.

I'm good with it. Cubs needed a core #4 hitter that takes takes walks. From the delay looks like they felt they were getting Appel. I'd concider using Baez as trade bait now for proven pitching. Also Bryant is concidered very close to the ML. Top 3 may be in the league in 2014 the way the announcers are talking.

I'm good with the pick of Bryant. Was disappointed that the Stros took Appel, but the Cubs are certainly stockpiling position players in the minors. Got to like Bryant's bat, and feel like this is a pretty "safe" pick to make an impact.

Called it.

Best position bat in the draft. Heres your 3B.

Time to deal Castro for some pitching or in a bundle for Stanton. Get the weak guys who cant hit nothing more then singles outta theres No need for em, we just got the premium power bat of the draft. Theo doing it the right way. Hopefully he gets to Wrigley soon, kids gonna hit 50 for more then a couple years with his power. Go cry about those pitchers, can get good enough in FA. I love it, just love it.

Its a great day to be a Cubs fan.

Tuggers- HA HA!!
