Noah is a face-up player who thrives in transition. Big men typically improve their foot work as they grow and mature in the league. Noah can definitely develop a low-post game.
Correct.FirstTimer, you said before that someone would need to be basketball Special person to not have Oscar Robertson in their top 5.
You're wrong.I disagree.
He was essentially LeBron James before LeBron James. Unless you believe that LeBron is a top 5 player of all-time, too, you have no business believing that The Big O belongs all the way up there.

get it done paxgar
Lebron has the potential to be by the end of his career. Right now? No. Potentially? Yes. LeBron is all of 27/28 years old. Robertson has played an entire career.
STFU.

Thanks for the quantitative "you're wrong's." You sure contributed mightily to the discussion.
WUT?!?!If James isn't better than Oscar by now, he never will be.
LeBron James may not even be as good of a player as he was 2 years ago.
You are talking about Oscar going to college as if it was some kind of disadvantage for him.
Look at Oscar's first 8 seasons and then look at LeBron's first 8.
Think about this for two fucking seconds.
After Oscar's first 8 seasons in the league, his peak was already known. After James' first 8 seasons, we have seen him dominate statistically close to as much as Oscar with more talent in a tougher era.
Your claim that Oscar Robertson is a hand-down top 5 player is mistaken. Top 10-15 maybe. Top 5? No.
Jordan>Oscar
Abdul-Jabbar>Oscar
Johnson>Oscar
Bird>Oscar
Olajuwon>Oscar
O'Neal>Oscar
Chamberlain>Oscar
Russell arguably > Oscar
Not top 5.

Top 10-15 maybe? Ok man...the guy freaking averaged a triple double for a season and almost averaged one for at least 2 or 3 more. He could do anything on the court and for the most part, do it well. He pretty much invented the fadeaway or something like that. That's got to put him in the top 15 let alone the top 5 or 10.
