Flus D ran circles around Johnson twice last year with lesser talent.

KOC had a vastly superior team sir and especially QB.

In any event we are not going to agree. I think we need more time. To me this is year 1 in evaluating Flus as this is the first year he has had a team with comparable talent to the rest of the NFL.

Now we will see how he manages it and deals with the fact the one clearly deficient area ie OL can sink the season.
Flus literally can’t use his timeouts or challenges properly.

He’s trash, it has nothing to do with the players

I wouldn’t say flus ran circles around Johnson. His D collapsed during the first game and lost a game they had a 99.9% chance of winning. Ben Johnson and the Lions have one of the best offenses in the NFL and resurrected Goffs career.

Yep, he's a dope. He's clearly in over his head. The whole wasting a time out because he some didn't realize the score is all you need to know about him. Just unacceptable. Seems like a really nice guy. Can you demote your head coach to d-coordinator?

Yeah, well, fans are idiots. Comparing Andy Reid and Matt Eberflus in any way is hilarious. They are both NFL head coaches and that is where the similarities end.

In terms of game management, Reid sucks. There isnt anyone who is familiar with his game management that really thinks otherwise but like you said fans are idiots and make claims based on name recognition and without proper research.

I can't find that quote but in principle that's fine if he said it.
In practice this organization can't win with any QB and hasn't for 40 years!

Eventually you have to stop always blaming the QBs and start thinking we're the ones who bust them. It's no single coach or GM, it's the McCaskeys.

"We all know it's a quarterback-driven league," he said (20:30 mark). "You need a guy who puts you in position to win games. And in scouting, we talk about win because of and win with types of quarterbacks. Those are the ones you need to win championships."

His D dominated the Lions for the majority of both games and you ignored the point about Johnson working with far more talent than he was. Believe Lions led for like 1 minute out of 120 minites.

Lmao now link all the articles about him being successful

Really can’t believe we are having to explain to you how much better Andy Reid is than flus

Like stop trying so hard to defend a guy that is clearly out of his element and we are in YEAR 3 of it

Now, I could understand if you’d want to blame poles for the players he has provided Flus to work with, but to not understand how terrible he is in late game decision making/situational football, you’re just being a homer or a troll

Maybe Poles should've fired Morgan after seeing what the oline was doing last year. Maybe he should've spent 3 years building the trenches like he said he would.

Be a team QBs can win with instead of the team where HCs/QBs/WRs come to die.

No one resurrected Goff's career. You're way too much credit to a guy that's played this way his entire career. Even when he plays with slightly better numbers he's still only a successful game manager that executes the offense. The Lions are winning with him not because of him.

Neither does Andy Reid and he has 3 Super Bowls. Fans always complain about time management of Head Coaches.

Correct. Fans of nearly every team feel their coach is the worst at time management and challenges, and think that their offensive line sucks.

No it is your argument. You link it. Good look finding it.

Reid is clearly a better overall coach. The topic is game management. He is garbage at it. Sorry.

I believe you’re right.

I don’t think this means Flus is a good HC or that Ben Johnson isn’t one of the best OCs in the league, though.

Flus is a good DC. He’s terrible with in game decisions. He hired 2 OCs who are “maybe” average but more likely lesser than average. The offense has looked clueless and inept this year under his watch. Remember, this guy sits in the meetings and supposedly “oversees” everything.

Quite simply, he’s a below average HC and probably above average/very good DC.

Lmao yeah, he’s so terrible at it it’s kept him from winning 3 super bowls…oh wait…
