His pocket presence was great in real games in college, but we'll see how it holds up after his OL gets him knocked around in the NFL.

Cant believe its year 3 of this regime and we are still complaining about the IOL.
This regime? How long have you been a Bears fan?

But we ain’t complaining about QB, WR, RB, K, etc. sucks but Poles went the right direction. If we had gone Oline the first 2 years, we would have had a great line and a sub par QB at helm. We would have been stuck with going to the playoffs every year and being one and done. Then we would have had to trade picks to get our high draft QB.

Ya'll will be pounding the table for more weapons if this offense struggles again.

To be fair real games are a month away and we don’t know how the line will be.

Shelton started all 17 games on a 10-7 team last year.

Bates started 15 games on a 13-3 team at RG in 2022.

It’s not like you can’t win with these guys.

This regime who's GM came in touting the importance of the trenches.
Have either of the trenches been the focus yet?

All of the offensive position groups except offensive line are as good as they‘ve ever been in my time as a Bears fan.

running backs are solid
wide receivers are insane
two great options at TE and a legendary blocking TE
QB has all of the potential in the world

every member of the Bears coaching staff and front office knows the importance of the offensive line. I have full confidence that they will nab a guy when rosters are cut down or trade for a guy if the starting o line isn’t cutting it. We all need some patience. I know how frustrating it can be with shitty training camp updates and incomplete info about injuries and shoddy offensive execution, but we ALL see the issues and know the importance, from Virginia McCaskey on down.
