It honestly feels like it has been years since the last time a Bears offense decisively won a practice. Like, a single practice, out of the entire camp. I feel like I'm reading the same tweets from the last 2 years.

Hope they get this stuff figured out before the games start to count. Can't afford to start the season off poorly with the way their schedule is designed.
Well look at how many young QBs and OCs they have gone through in recent years. There hasn’t been consistency to be the dominant group on the field.

If Fields plays well, its because he's in year 4 and has experience now so the game might slow a little for him. Still isn't a good point because the Bears moved on because of the looming decision to pay him or not and having the #1 pick to reset the clock on the QB. Thats just common sense. And I'd argue 32 out of 32 teams would have made the same decision
That's fine but that doesn't take into account that this organization for whatever reason has packed the environment to adequately develop a quarterback for my lifetime.

If Fields balls out and Caleb struggles because his interior OL sucks shit it will be ugly and they're not going to come for Caleb.

Victim of circumstance. Poles owed him nothing and didn't draft him. He shouldn't have to mold his view for the team around a player he didn't draft

You're not getting it.

One of the biggest reasons why Justin struggled still persists. No QB will thrive with turnstiles in the interior - not every team has the talent to take advantage of this weakness but our week 1 opponent and our biggest rivals are more than happy to fuck our shit up.

The slow starts have been a function of Eberflus' coaching and they're going on the same path once again.

Matt Stafford and Josh Allen did with Shelton and Bates.

How about they actually play some games first?

If Williams plays with this offensive line against the Bills starters don’t expect much more than a series or two with plenty of handoffs.

I don’t think he would play more than a quarter regardless. Think Stroud had 4 attempts his first game and threw a pick.

He barely played at all….

“Stroud, who beat out incumbent starter Davis Mills, ran exclusively with the starting offense during preseason and went 11-of-18 for 89 yards with one touchdown and an interception in eight series over three games”

I’m just going to watch mofos cry until I get to see CeeDubz actually play. The chef is going to cook.

I’m not worried about anything to do with the OL. I’ll worry if shit goes sideways in September. Oh, why did I link this YouTube shit? He is pointing out that Vegas is expecting chef CeeDubz to go over 3.6K yards. Yeah. I’m good. Go ahead and keep crying and doubting Big Poles. I’m good.

Our genius coach said he wants him to get 45-55 snaps in preseason, I think?

Yes there was a lot of whining. I like Poles but your record is what you are. He’s done some great things, some good things and several bad things but he’s still just 10-24. I think his biggest mistake was keeping Eberflus and the Claypool trade is second. Hoping I’m wrong about Flus.
It’s still way too early to comment on the draft picks at this point but I think the trade of the #1 overall pick and the sweat trade are really the positives right now and most all else has been kinda bleh.

I’m all in on CW but hindsight will say he should’ve taken stroud if it doesn’t pan out.

At this point Stevenson, Gordon, brisker, Darnell wright, Braxton jones, Dexter, Pickens …. Not a single one of these guys have shown to be above league average players. For the record I’m not writing them off but we can’t pretend they are pro bowlers or all pros yet.

Best player on the team is sweatt who was a known entity acquired by trade, dj moore acquired by trade, and Jaylon Johnson who was drafted by pace.

Poles gets credit for making the trades but if he can’t identify talent and if the coaches can’t develop the draft picks the team will flounder, and this will fall on poles.

I notice you didnt mention keenan allen, but even a special person like daniel would know that trade is a no brainer.

This should be obvious. But it’s 100% correct.

I don't know what games you've been watching, but Brisker and Gordon have been very good their first 2 seasons. I don't know why anyone would deny this.
